Neon Stars

If I´m right, that CR cames from Daily Quest -event, and that event was "7th of December 2023 - 13th of December 2023".
So I have NOT this, thinking in those days, that I don´t need the prizes but not notised that -20% breedingtime from CR. Sad but in those days I was quite busy in IRL and do not that event. Auts.

But also: 3++ mins is quite ok to me with other helpers to breeding!

 

I have been on a crazy breeding frenzy. I have managed to complete three breeding FSQs (including Scorpions!) and am well on the way to finishing another one. Only thing is, I have used up all my pheromones - even though I recently put out my Scent Trees and bought those on offer for Farm Coins.

So far, I have used 1,234 more PF than the event required and bought a large PF basket. I will carry on until I have enough PF left to fill up the Loveshack and then I can relax. I might not finish any more breeding FSQs but I will prepared for the next breeding event ... I hope!

I did get ONE nice skip on one of them - I believe it was from basic to top level but I didn't check and I have refreshed now so too late.
I hope you all have better skips than I have had.

 

3!! breeding quests Illy, that's pretty great (and a lot of PF, but we don't speak about pf )

I managed to knock the pigs out, and got enough stars to open the Alps.

Illy1996, Glad you enjoyed your breeding spree, I too completed three breeding quests, also i am near completed three other breeding quests

Deluxe Pheromones do help get good skips i only be using them on Level 4,5 and 6 Breeding animals not need to use them on Level 7 as you cant go beyond Level 8

I have 50 K in Pheromones in my Barn as i brought them cheap in the market ages ago i have used many thousands of them since then

FYI: Pheromones can be won on Farmerama Wheel, Quests and Events, Any one who has Scented Trees can be grown to stock up your barn . Pheromones can be brought in the markets too

Selling Scorpions and Raccoons, especially newer farmers and ILLY1996 gives you lots of CC which you can purchase buy Pheromones in the Market

These Farn coins won during breeding, can use these to buy Power Feed and Deluxe Pheromones in Farm Coin Shop on Monthly Basics which is what i do

Since this Event we can gain Neon Raccoon and Neon Scorpion, In few months there will be new Breeding Animal

This farm did a little extra breeding yesterday, too. Got a little further on a handful of the breeding quests - all good to help rebuild this farm's stock of stars for the Tree of Wisdom. I finally got enough and took the plunge and opened Edelweiss Valley on this farm - took the farm coin total down to near zero. Back up over 300 now thanks to wheel spins and quest fulfillments.

This is a busy week for me in RL so if I'm not around much, don't panic.

Edited to add: Pheromones - DO NOT pay more than 600 CCs for pheromones at your market. Over that and you are paying too much! You can buy them all day long for 600 CCs each at the little store on the left in the town square - 100 at a time. And of course that little piggy pirate often has them on sale, too. I always have my farms buy them when he's selling them.

 

Oh, AJ, I remember when we had tons of Pheromones - couldn't really see the point of them then and suddenly they became precious! Made a lot of CCs selling them for a while and, like you, I had a major stash. Since I have been trying to complete these breeding FSQs, they have gradually decreased - maybe because I forget to take them off and do loads of breedings when I don't need to speed them up (overnight and when I stock up the Motel during Happy Discount Days!).

Bought some in the Market too and made a lot of CCs selling Raccoons and Scorpions BUT spent a lot on breeding animals too. So, in the words of our good friend Broke, I am practically broke - all the time!

I don't have much luck with the Deluxe Pheromones but I do use them at the upper end - sometimes I get the skip from third highest to the top which cuts out a lot of breeding.

I love the Crate O' Pranking too! Lots of breeding animals - and of course the CR speeding up breeding even more! What's not to like?

No breeding raccoons in my market, but I did sell some basic animals. Congrats on everyone's accomplishments

 

Pheromones are often more expensive in market than in Supply store. There is no limit how much you can buy from store, there is only limit how big batch you can buy at once. It can be repeated over and over again.

 

All my goos skips I got them from breeding base animals with nothing else. The only major perks of the deluxe I see is that instead of gifting back base animal, I'll get level 1/2/3 breeding animal instead. Not a big fan of breeding FSQs, prizes are just lame (to stay polite). I'm starting to hate the fact that neon upgrades will ask for over a day to mature now: 39h is a bit much...

 

You should aim for instant stalls Just 5 Flower spray arts and time to click till you run out of feed (or 4 and suitable cloud rows and buffs for short one).

 

Getting those 5 flower sprays is a bit tricky! I do have some, but not yet enough to "instant stall" for now!

Neon Raccoon stall + valentines' pot + 10% lower time for stall from the Tree of Wisdom = 24 h30 min to harvest the new updrade! A waste of raccoons and of time!

 

Raccoon stalls take forever no matter what color the stall is! It's why none of us have as many as we'd like!

And somehow, sewinglady's farm didn't have ANY raccoon stalls out. None. On FOUR fields! Still scratching my head over how that happened. So now that farm is making up for lost time. I have to remember to check what's in the menageries from time to time.

I think I never put the raccoon stalls in the menageries because it would lengthen the time on all the other stables too much. And then in a purge for an event, I pulled them up and they never got put back down.

If you can spare it, a powerfeed shortens the time on that neon stall by a whole bunch. Not sure I want to do that every day, though.

 

I've had a raccoon stall out the moment I got an orange upgrade eons ago. It was sitting in one of my menagery with the tortoise, chameleon, donkey neon uprades... I have 1 of each animal stalls out that have upgrades available and I run them all the time (unless I take them out for an event). I could power feed the neon raccoon to be able to harvest at least once a day but I don't think it's fair to ask players to do so. The pink raccoon with the valentine's pot and rune was harvestable once per day, I'll revert back to it to use the 4900+ raccoon feed I have in inventory.

Instant Stalls Strategy: We can win Flower Spray Art from Piccolo Wonder Boxes , Also Flower Spray Art was award to us from last year Farmerama Birthday Present Gift

Technically Speaking we only need 4 Flower Spray Arts, using Valentine Pots and Stall Reducing Cloud Row Buffs

Each Flower Spray Art gives 20% reduce stall time, this applies to Animal Base Stalls, plus yellow, orange ,red, pink and NEON stalls

If stall buff combo adds up to 100% Instant Stalls, there is no need to use Power Feed on them if the combo is below 100%, it up to you to use PF for Instant Stalls

Also there is CR that gives you 5% Effectiveness of PF on any Stalls too

It is much harder to build Neon Stalls for two reasons A} Lack of high level Breeding Animals to buy in the markets B} Lack of Super or Good Skips during Breeding during Baby Boom/ Happy Discount Day
The Pro of using Neon Stalls is gaining higher quality of Animals reaped , Also using 100% Gold slot stall buff/100% Harvester/200% Harvester

The Con of using Neon Stalls is when got +1 Stall buff, you on gain +1 Animal, Plus using both gold slots stall reducing time and CR stall reducing time EG using Neon Raccoon Stall still take a while to reap

The other Con of using Neon Stalls there is +1 Raccoon CR, + 1 Stall Pet Giver, +1 Mover Giver, +1 Stall CR

Alternative/Better Stocking Animal Stalls Strategy: Take advantage of Red Text above can be achieved, placing 128 Yellow Stalls without using Mengeries EG Yellow Raccoon Stalls

On Basis on Red Text Buff: You can reap 128 x 5 Yellow Raccoon Stalls = 640 Raccoons ,if you are lucky to achieve Instant Stall Buff Blue Text above you can reap 640 Raccoons for every instant harvest, Providing you have sufficient stock of Raccoon Feed in your Barn

FYI; This Strategy is basis on Raccoon Stalls, Similar formula can be tweet depending which CR Animal Booster you are using

I do not fret too much on Neon Stalls for couple of reasons, You need healthy stock of tools in your barn to build them, also need Level 8 Breeding Animals too A) Takes many PF to win them during Breeding . B) Need Millions of CC in your Barn to buy them in the markets if you are lucky they appear in your markets
Better chance Obtaining Neon Stables via Gift and Trade Event , Also there are Two Neon Stall Crates I and II won from Events but mostly older Neon Stalls

 

Those Neon Stall Crates gives just specific old neon stalls, you can see list from i-button before opening/buying it.
Here is my strategy to instant stalls, to get as much as possible from one animal feed. I asked help from forum to make it, I do not have all of those things.

Checklist, what all to remember to get most out of one stall.

I usually have just one stable of one animal, neon if there is one. Clicking Harvest-clean-feed over and over again till I run out of some feed and replace it with another animal. In some stage I try to sell some manure and continue feeding my animals.
