We did a free visit to a local small primary school today.

The children were wonderfully behaved (we have been there in previous years and knew they would be), so reintroduced Boris, who came back on board very well and to accompany him, Freya who had her second outing.

The confidence Freya shows for a baby is wonderful & Lexi too at her booking (but Lexi's is off lead rope and she only does what she wishes - which is pester everyone she sees to feed her moss)! These two baby girls will be wonderful additions to the "Show Team" next year...

edit, by me. I Have a lovely video of Lexi - I didn't take it, someone has shared it with me but for some reason it's privacy settings won't allow me to share (lady who filmed it is also a techno numpty - so although it is on my page I can't share) hopefully I'll get another. :)

What a trooper Boris is. He knows that little brats are not the norm. I'll bet those kids were thrilled. :) Freya and Boris make a great team! :D

An update on the other babies too today...
A friend of hubby who lives in Scotland went to visit Thor & Loki with her toddler today... So for all who remember the boys...

    Boys being boys!

And I went to check on Lexi and her mother Twiglet today.... in cracking health & they have certainly become moss munchers! Lexi may become a demanding girl, just like Hector, for treats!

It looks like the Scottish air agrees with Thor and Loki! They are just beautiful, healthy looking
boys! It is great to see them, and a big Thank You to your hubby's friend for getting pictures for us to see!:inlove:
I believe you are right,;) Lexi sure does love those treats! And Twiglet is just so pretty! It was fun to see that little baby just sitting with dad while Lexi gobbled up treats! too cute! :)

It was great to see the pictures of Thor and Loki, and I am glad that they have settled down so well in Scotland. Lexi certainly loves her moss treats!

I also loved seeing the boys!!! :inlove:Their coats look thicker.....or is it that they just don't get brushed like your reindeer?

It's colder up there in Scotland and it's ALWAYS raining!!! ;)

But tonight you can see Boris & Mischa drenched too... Just returned back from an evening booking & even my underwear is drying on radiators and I'm still frozen. Their coats look a lot more scraggy after heavy rain as they are so dense (1,500 hairs per square inch) - that's why the spring/summer moult takes so long...

Poor you and poor babies (or should I say pour?). It's a good thing they don't stay in the house with you. I can't imagine what "wet reindeer" smells like. :)

    Beautiful, a fine wine...
To me they don't smell at all but sure the must... I'm just used to it :)

Well that's it for the final growth of Freya's HUGE antlers as she has started to strip her velvet off. One down, one to go. She really will look like a little Devil once they're both done.

Can I give a shout out for the reindeer owners worldwide... they are the best..

Not the best model for reindeer head collars, I know, but all I have available after dark!!! (picture)

In the UK we usually have to manage with foal headgear but there is a company in USA that makes them specifically for reindeer and they fit so much better. The problem is company has no website or email address.

Network of reindeer owners worldwide are the BEST...

A massive thank you to Carol Miller Borton, based in Michegan, who not only ordered them for me but has sent them as a Christmas present... I can't believe her generosity, feeling embarrassed, but full of Christmas cheer...
Thank you Carol you are the best!.xxx

Your model looks as though she/he is thinking "wonder if she realises I am not a reindeer!"

"It's" Dilly my Old Labrador girl - she's just saying "whatever" ;)

Still haven't had chance to put on new head collars... but picture today of baby Freya on her 3rd outing with her new (only homemade neck collar - loads of ribbons stitched in and a new cow bell) but loving being centre stage..
