Antler growth looks bad on them too. Can't grow and sustain healthy antlers if you don't feed them well. :(

Looks like they have other animals, also, In the same conditions.

How can people be so cruel in not looking after their animals properly. They should be banned from keeping any!

Sorry folks, such a busy time of year for us. so not often I can update as R/l takes over...
We had a wonderful day at Ashgate Hospice on Saturday then a couple of days off and Cransley Hospice. Thought we could relax in meantime but my jockey wheel on trailer was jammed so rest days became panic... And then Boris smashed reindeer moss container... nothing ever straight forward.. :(

Okay... Jockey wheel now fixed TG. Have a mountain of ironing to keep hubby in shirts for as close to Christmas as I can, a few meals to cook and put in freezer but tomorrow I need to go shopping for a new storage box... Thank you Boris, this wasn't on my "Must Do" List! I had wanted to get other jobs done... Grrh!

I think "Bad Boy Boris" should be sent out to buy the new storage box out of his own money, either that or do the ironing for you. Not so sure about the cooking as knowing him he would eat it all!

LOL.....My Mom was a clever gal.:music: When I was about 9 or 10, she got me all excited about making money and starting my own business. Ironing my Dad's shirts for .10 cents each. She helped make a cute sign I hung on the laundry room. It took me a while.... but then I realized..... I'd been had!o_O 10 very difficult 100% cotton shirts ironed for $1.00. It took me hours & hours!
Back into negotiations....where I then recieved .25 cents per shirt and got to move the ironing board into the family room(where our only TV was)......so I didn't die of boredom! I hate ironing til this day. There's a product "wrinkle releaser" that I adore! Spritz and pull here & there....and voila....wrinkles fall away!!! I take it on every trip!

Karen - So happy to hear you got the wheel fixed. Not the early Xmas shopping you wanted. New storage box is top of the list!

Sorry folks for lack of updates. A little manic at this time of year and even when we're out & about I rarely remember to take photos, which is very silly of me as they would be good for my business page but we just get too busy.

I delivered Twiglet and baby Tigga to the wonderful Welford Christmas Tree Farms - the only place I ever leave my reindeer. They are lovely and the wife is a vet. I check on them twice a week but really no need as they are in such good hands but I miss them.

Picture below is Lotte this morning, Twiglet's calf from 2 years ago, she really outdid herself.
Is it a bird's nest or an early Easter bonnet?

Lotte looks like she doesn't have a care in the world with her new head gear on!xD I think I remember that tree farm from last year and that the wife was a vet and your reindeer were in very good and loving hands BUT you did visit last year too!;)

Lotte looks as though she is in training for camouflage manoeuvres. Maybe she is getting ready to creep up on everyone without them seeing her! I hope Twiglet and Tigga enjoy their little holiday together.

Well I had a surreal conversation with someone at an event today.

It started with him sniffing the lichen and talking to his associate about the undertones of scent - he sounded if he was a wine buff describing a fine wine.

Then he asked if I minded if he smelt my reindeer??? Me - "No of course not, feel free" (does this man need locking up???). He couldn't pick up their scent by burying his nose in their coat...

Luckily I found out he was a perfumiere and really was interested before he asked to smell their pooh and nearly stuffed it up his nostrils! Apparently, in scent trade, they need some chemical or other that's in (any) pooh to bring out the fragrances in flowers/fruit etc...

Well, I am never too old to learn - and not judge someone that want to put reindeer pooh up their nostrils before I call in someone with straight jackets!! Heehee [IMG]:)

Boy, Santa's naughty list gets longer.
While Boris, Mischa, Lotte & I were working to get on Santa's Good List on Sunday, Elsa was destroying their home paddocks!
She managed to break a cable tie and move a hurdle to get into a mini plantation of goat willow, birch and crab apple saplings. This area was 18" deep in grass and weeds but by the time I got home, she had paddled to mud and young trees destroyed!
Hubby thought I had opened the gap as it was swung open not trampled! NO Elsa!
