Great news about Bilbo! Perhaps some special food treats to show him you love him? And I am very relieved that Gandalf will no longer be a terror to you at rutting time.

Gandalf update. He was rather sleepy for 12 hours, but sailed through sedation with good heart rate and breathing. I have kept a close eye on wound, seepage as expected, as an "open" castration. He has had no complications, apart from walking gingerly for a few days but now back to full health. [IMG]
AND my happy news, must try not to be too smug. I think I said that I asked specialist reindeer vet to take bloods from my girls to check for trace elements to see if I could improve before calving.
He rang last night saying he had results back from lab and kind of kept me in suspense, making me feel that they may have a problem.... and then he said their blood results were the best he had ever seen in reindeer and to change nothing. Must admit I did a Happy Dance AND poured a huge glass of wine... Best ever blood works from all blood samples he's taken and he's a specialist vet!!!!

    Belly Watch begins! [IMG]
I hadn't officially started watching (usually March before the calves are awake and big enough to see kicks) but happened to see a calf kicking in Ria's belly this morning.
I watched a couple of other girls afterwards but calves still very sleepy, so no others detected yet BUT Ria is Pregnant. [IMG]
Edit, Yummy Mummy No. 2 is Mischa - I saw her calf this morning

Does anyone know if there is a thread supporting Ukrainian members? If so please point me in the way. World events are getting very scary. They are so much more important than kicks in my reindeer bellies. Please everyone support Ukraine in their nightmares.
Sorry Mods, okay I double posted BUT!!!

Karen I have been looking also, and I have not seen one, I pray that Ukraine can keep strong against the horror that is being
inflicted upon them by a bully! It scares me to think Ukraine today who might be next?

I have donated to the Red Cross that is helping migrants but have also heard that booking AirB&B in Ukraine, (not going obviously) is sending money to them directly. Please do what you can to help Ukrainians but ensure it's a reputable Charity. So so scary for the Ukraine. :(
    ~edit~ no outside links permitted

Hmmn that's a shame Big Point, as in this stage in this international crisis I would hope that you too would be standing beside our Ukrainian friends. I hope you too are supporting Ukraine by no longer being available in Russia. I am boycotting any company who supports Russia by supplying goods and that includes Games. :(

Goodbye all from me and Luxlyk Reindeer.
Just to let everyone know, I needed clarity of BP stance and it seems profits come before Humanity.
So for now I am stopping playing. If any of my friends (the ones who know how to contact me outside of the game) hear that BP have changed their stance, let me know and I may come back. but for now my messages to HQ...
"I am boycotting any company who is still available in Russia, due to their war crimes in the Ukraine? And this includes games.
Please inform all players whether Farmerama is available to play in Russia (putting your income above humanity). I really hope not as I have been playing since almost your inception and mostly love the game but I need an Official Announcement to say where you stand.
I cannot keep playing if Farmerama are putting profits above humanity."
    "Hello BoHoKaren,

Farmerama is owned by BigPoint whose company is in Germany. Russians can still log in to the game, as can any other country the Game is available in.

    Can I assist you further?"
"That is a real shame on BigPoint.
Yes I know BigPoint is based in Germany, and as such, should be aware that most of Europe has withdrawn any services and goods to Russia while their war crimes continue.
Most reputable companies have withdrawn their services to Russia and SHAME on BigPoint for not doing so also.
Now I have stopped playing until the company put Human rights above profit. :("
So goodbye for now. I will miss you all. xx

If any really want to see the calves shortly to be born, then Lilaclady can give you contact details if she doesn't mind.
Take care and stay safe. xx
