New Baby reindeer to my herd

That's not cheating. That's using your head! Glad Dilly is there to help.

 

As the saying goes... "Every Picture Tells a Story".... but you would never guess this one..
I cheated on the antler hunt and got my "Chief Truffle Hound" to help. I was trying, crouched down, to take a photo of Dilly, the dog (my truffle hound) when a little Hector Monster "attacked" from behind. Picture was taken mid fall, think I got Dilly's tip of tail!!
Despite everything, we found his shed antler, along with a missing lead rope, which disappeared 3 weeks ago. All within 2 feet of his deflated Jolly Mega ball... In a very large paddock.
He has a stash and we found it!!!

 

Too funny!!! Hector seems to be looking at Dilly and saying "....you traitor!" You showed Mom where I hide my stuff!"

Dilly looks like she recovered from her surgery!

 

Dilly has just undergone mammary tummor removal and I speyed at same time as she is an "older" dog. She needs gentle excercise... Hunting for antler is easy.. running with "pack" is a little too much

 

Everyone wins even if Hector doesn't like it. He gets his pasture kept clean and danger free!

 

Dilly is a really good looking Lab. Isn't it funny that everything was together. Do you really think he put them there? Too funny!

 

Lottidah, I am guessing he was probably playing with his deflated ball when it snapped off but can't explain why the lead rope was in the same far corner of field though.

Today he is completely naked - I have found second antler too but it was at opposite end of paddock this time. Picture is of antler base even though it looks like a pair of eyes.

 

At least he is balanced again!

 

Nothing exciting to report today... Just a picture of Boris and Lotte hay munching.. It is odd that they bury their noses and resulting holes always looks like something (vermin) is nesting..
PS Hector is now perfectly balanced.... a chip on both shoulders... Not a happy bunny at all..

 

My pony always digs down in with her nose to look for the "BEST" pieces. If you place it out where they can walk into it, they will. They can waste lots of hay if you let them.

 

What to do when nobody wants to play with you???
"Billy No Mates" aka Luxlyk Boris, plays with the wheelbarrow instead.

 

Healthy, happy and smart! (Not to mention good looking!)

 

What do keep or do with the wheelbarrow? Boris seems to want what was in it. LOL

 

I had been barrowing muck from shelter to heap, but it was empty barring a lead rope that I had used for Hector lead rope training. Boris was just playing.
Since my original post I am having a slight "wobble". Mischa seems to have a slight discharge today... sometimes it is normal in pregnancy or she might be about to abort... not sure yet but may not post until I know... Wish us luck.

Oh yes...will say a prayer that Mischa keeps her baby.
