New Baby reindeer to my herd

My cats also prefer drinking from the tap even though they have bowls of fresh water. I do hope that the " fruit loop" stops causing you problems!

 

I got a good laugh about Hector What a character he must be! It is so sad that people like "fruit loop" can't show respect to others animals or privacy

 

Just wanted to share how well my oldest baby, Thor, is doing...

Thor yesterday (with his mother Mischa) and at birth 30th April once he had got on his feet... Well done Mischa... your first viable calf.. xxxx

Just over 12 weeks!!! Wow, don't they grow quickly..

Wow Karen, Thor is growing like a weed! lol I for one would to see the birth to now pictures of all the little ones if you have time! I hope all has been quiet with the "Fruit Loop" and all your herd is safe from strangers! I look forward to this thread!

Lexi, a couple of days ago, with her mother Twiglet in the background (left). Lexi is still in the process of moulting out her baby coat but her grey/white facial marking are becoming more obvious now.

And at birth on the 6th of May

 

She is growing into a very beautiful little lady!

 

Lexi has such pretty markings on her face! I can't get over how big her antlers are for such a young age! She is too cute!...Of course I really them all!

 

Hopefully back to posting photo's tomorrow but not the best of days today.

Started with a handling session, babies needed re worming as I had to put them into unrested paddocks and their 2nd Heptovac and vits to counteract stress.. They and their mothers got very stressed. Thor and Lexi damaged their velvet...

Topping that the "Fruit Loop" has reported to the Police that she owns two of my babies ( they asked to see receipt and a proof of transfer of ownership (via ear tag number) surprisingly she couldn't find it!! She also claimed I killed her chickens (I gave them to her before she went off the rails - don't think I could kill my babies even if I no longer owned them) and I had threatened to shoot her... Can she see my dreams???

This lady is a real wackadoo and has you in her sights for some reason. I'm sure she has done this type of thing in the past to someone else. (I might have watched too many episodes of "Criminal MInds" and learned something from the BAU team) Poor mamas and babies Hope they are back together real soon.

 

Sounds as though the "fruit loop" wants taking away in a straight jacket. I hope she soon stops making trouble for you. Have you thought about making a formal complaint about her to the Police, they could arrest her and charge her for what she is doing to you.

 

Back to good things.. Guess who was hiding from the flies today but he can't hide from me... I thought he looked particularly handsome.

That top tine has split despite his antlers cooling off, so they are still growing but a lot slower than they were.



Thor and Lexi's antlers aren't anywhere near as bad as I thought. Where the velvet came off and bled is hardly noticeable today but they have had some aluspray on them just to seal them off.

 

Hector has grown into a beautiful reindeer, from (in my point of view) a very cute and lovable baby boy! I am glad Thor and Lexi are doing well, poor babies! Thanks for the lovely pictures and up-dates!

 

Adding a second post today, it's sort of related to my Monster - Thanks Dollar for posting in between.

I found Lotte and Hector's baby head collars today. Lotte's pale pink and almost pristine.... Hector's blue and it needs washing before using!!
Lexi is now wearing her big sisters baby clothes.

 

Isn't it typical of little boys to get things dirtier than girls! I love the pale pink head collar, it really suits Lexi
