Thanks guys. having looked at the market and seen the prices, and compared that to the 2 elephants needed to make the PB, I see your point. (still don't know how elephants make it.... hope it does not involve chewing! o_O )

Is there ANY way of influencing the wonder stables? I seem to constantly get beaver, hedgehog and mice pens! Not one butterfly, fox, bear or other decent one  Anybody know the trick of it?

Hi Chris - I don't think there is any way to influence the results of wonder stables.

The stables that you could get from the prizes from the Goddess event are listed in this link.

The pens you list (butterfly, fox, and bear) are not available through wonder stables anymore. I think you can still win a butterfly from the farmwheel (not positive though as it has been a while since I have seen it) but the rest you will have to look for when we have Gift and Trade.

Thanks Puppies; I won a perfumery from the wheel (I think it was), which is no use without the butterfly stall; and several of the new events require foxes, which are selling at ridiculous prices in the market (prob because the guys with the pens know how rare they are!) Thanks for the link - shows I should not bother with the wonder stables then; I have all those :( so I need to look out for the next time midnight stables are available
I am guessing the Squirrel ones are from the wheel etc too, as they are not listed on that link page :(

If you don't want to wait until Gift and Trade to see if you can get the pens you don't have, the butterfly and squirrel are available for sale in the shop for BB. I don't know when we will have a sale but at that time you can get them 1/2 off.

    Congrats on the perfumery!

Hi everyone... not going to post a thread in the new users...

This is sewinglady. I had to make a new account on BigPoint's main farmerama page, so I think that on the forum, until BigPoint changes things for BigFish users, I am going to be dumbunny.

Not sure if I'll play this farm much, but I suppose I have to at least a little to keep the account alive.

    Hi Sewinglady!
I wondered where you had gone off to. ;) I've had my own experiences with BigFish on another game I used to play so I can sympathize. One of the reasons I signed up direct with BP when I started and not through BF was based on those experiences. So glad I made that decision. Good luck I hope they work out a solution to the forum issue for all the 3rd party players soon. :)

    Yeah, me too.

On the other hand, I've been given a mentor on this farm. Never did do that with my BF farm, so even though I've told her that I'm not super green, I might just see how this works from the 'mentee' end and maybe sign up to mentor on the other one (if I can via BF).

I got my second pet from Renzo's today. :D I got the nightmare egg ages ago and then spent my coins on some of the other items (scorch tub). I had planned on using my saved coins and going for the artisan craft this time. When I actually looked at how much it cost to just buy that second craft outright I decided that was kind of crazy. It's not like Renzo's is really free after all since I buy tickets using BB's which I bought with RL money.

So instead I got the dragon pet.:inlove: Plopped him right down in my newly opened tiny section of shipwreck bay. Now if only I had remembered to buy a couple of egg warmers yesterday like I meant to. :cry:xD:cry:

Hi guys, this is steph2014 posting from my other farm, since the Steph farm is through Big Fish Games (and can no longer access the forum -.-). I have what is probably a stupid question about Pineapple Cake. The description says it gives you 25% more harvest on tropical trees and crops for 12 hours. My question has to do with what size plot is best. I know with CAC, it's better to use 1x1 plots because CAC adds +2 to every plot. But since pineapple cake adds a percentage, does plot size matter? Sorry if the question seems dumb (especially from a farmer calling herself Miss Smarty PantsxD)...I just want to make sure I maximize the buff. Thanks!

Hi Steph, great to see you :D

Pineapple cake adds 1 crop to both 1x1 and 1x2 fields and 2 crops to 2x2 fields. That means that 1x1 fields are best, but there is no difference between 1x2 and 2x2 fields :)

The biggest advantage to pineapple cake is that it adds one item to the tree harvest as well as plots of land, though on Baha only. I use Pineapple cake when there are no events, since I have just pens and trees on the mainland most of the time. The bonus is not as high as for CAC on crops, but for me, the added tree bonus makes it worthwhile for me.
