Oh, okay, thanks for checking. I was confused, because a minute before Chris posted here, he had "liked" my answer to his trophy question in this thread ...but my name isn't sewinglady ;)
Not that it matters...as long as people are getting the correct info, that's all that counts! :)

oh; sorry - It was sweet Steph; I got you confused because you are both such constantly helpful people, and the thread was gone, so I had to rely on my memory. :p sorry: it isn't what it used to be (it used to be a unicorn). My thanks to you Steph.

Just thought a warning may be appropriate for newbies, after a recent experience I had -
Beware! This game gets into your head!
I was driving from Oxford to Wellingborough, when I noticed a sign at the side of the road by a farm "Alpacas for sale". I was slowing down and wondering where they would go (glade, or main farm) when I caught myself. Really, you have to be careful with this game!

A similar thing happened to me last autumn, Chris! I was driving down a country road and saw a huge, gorgeous tree that had a ton of bright red leaves on it. My first thought was: "That tree is ready to be harvested"! xD

I think I need to start keeping a log or something similar for my plan of action. I seem to lose track at times of what I have in mind and suddenly I check in and look around and say to myself "why did I plant all my fields with hops?". I end up getting sidetracked onto something else while I'm looking for the reason and end up planting the wrong thing to go with all the hops I just harvested. -.-

It also helps to do your research before starting something. If not you find yourself half way through the first comic in the library and suddenly think "what exactly am I getting for all these crops"? Only to find out once you've done the research that it isn't much and does not include any stars. :(

The higher in levels you go, the worse the comic quests become. Since I was well up in levels before they introduced the first one, I've determined that doing any of them is not to my benefit. Same goes for this new FSQ called Herbarium. Not worth my time and effort.

Yeah, I started the first comic and quickly abandoned it. And then that Comic 8 quest...no way. I didn't even try. Sometimes it's best to just support other players working on a quest by selling your stuff at the market - they get what they need and we get CCs! Win-Win!

sewinglady, there is a difference between the FS Library Comic quests (always there and useless) and the Comic Events (evaluate each one independently).

Anybody know why, sometimes, the animals sometimes require two feeds? i am not talking about the times when a lag makes it ask for a second feeding (as I asked in the tech section) but, I noticed yesterday and again today, when it says in the banner "feed animals" sometimes (today with my goats) it says "2x feed animals" - are the goats and chickens just getting greedy? :(

Do you mean a goat producer or a goat milk producer? My goat pen just says 'Feed animals', my goat dairy says 'Goat, 2xgoats'.
It would be more helpful if the workshops were clearer, eg '1 goat feed & 2xgoats'.

Well, just now my egg producing chickens wanted 3x feed as did my regular rabbit hutch: so no idea why. Seems to be at the server's whim

nope, they always want that many chickens and feed. Greedy little things, aren't they?

Hi Chris :) Animal stable always require 1 feed. Workshops will require 1 feed + a number of animals, usually one or two animals. But as sewinglady also said :), the egg production pens requires 1 chicken feed + 3 chickens, the mustache saloon from the recent comic event actually require 1 cuckoo feed + 8 cuckoos o_O

    Hope this helps :)
