News Page Link to Forum

Per most recent update to Bugfixes, Updates & Improvements - Jan 2016

"News button on the main page is now linking players to the Forum."

Could you explain further please. When clicking on the news icon along the left side of the screen the news pop-up only has "Event", "Update" & "Sales" and I can not find anything that links to the forum! And what is considered "the main page"? If there is no event or update currently active those areas are not able to be accessed.

Another way to access the forum is always appreciated but I can not seem to find this link.

I'm not sure if this is the proper area for this thread but the original notice was in the Tech Announcement section so I stuck with the Tech area. Thank you.

There is no forum link on the News page. I believe the forum link was broken for some players in the "!?" tab.

I was aware of the broken link so was happy to read teddy.bear's TA on Thursday of the sync which I quoted above. I don't want to be a pest but could someone check with the tech team and find out what they did or did not sync last Thursday re: forum. I am very confused. Thank you.

 

@teddy.bear could you please get a clarification from the tech team as to where is the link they told you to put in the TA from almost 2 weeks ago! There is no "main page" from the news button. Please forgive double post, I know it is a no-no but haven't seen a response for over a week.

I am really sorry for the late reply, and thank you for posting again the question was lost in the pile of question - I am terribly sorry.

Here is the quote from the updates and improvements thread, as copied by yourself previously as well.

This does not refer to the news layers displayed in game, displayed after you login, advertising the events, features, mini events, sales, etc - but to the main page of the game (landing page of www.farmerama.com)​

Thank you for the clarification teddy.bear. I've noticed that the Community button on the same screen also provides a link to the forum. When logging in to the game I usually don't wait for the screen to load fully, just hit the login button asap , so I don't think of that as a "main page".
