Night of the Bat - no bats flying?

    I saw bats flying on the first evening when I had not produced any food. Now that I have food ready there are no bats to be seen anywhere on my MM page. I have read the game rules carefully - can anyone help please.

    Excuse me mods for assisting. huggybear have you made sure on the event prize counter that you have got a tick in the box to make bats appear. this is under the bat icon in the counter. it is the stone feature next to the mill near the top of right of screen

    The bats can be turned on and off by un/checking the check mark.
