North Pole Adventure

The huge Christmas time event is on! 3 different parts to play, all 3 connected with 4 event crops and a whole lot of drops!

Part 1:

Each player will start with 1 Silver Key to open step 1 of any of the 3 paths (the 3 boxes asking for a Silver Key will be glowing and there's up & down arrows at the bottom left of the screen that lets you chose any of the 3). the goal is to get to open the main event crop and moonlignt event crop as fast as possible. Event crops will not be booked, they need to be milled with the candles and fir branches. Each player will get 5 fir branches at the start of the game and the system will book 5 more each 5h is there's none left (this means players need to fill up their mill with ultra long crops and just add the 5 new fir branches in the milling queue).

The 3 event crops are:

Farm Wreathsteria 5h30 on Main field and Green Meadow only
Island Wreathsteria 6h on Bahamarama Plantation and The Rainforest
Moonlight Wreathsteria on Full Moon Field only

Event drop:

Assorted Cookies from crops and trees on Main field, Bahamarama Plantation and Full Moon field.

To complete Part 1:

Path 1 Island: 12691 Island Wreathsterias + 228 Assorted Cookies
Path 2 Main: 13648 Farm Wreathsterias + 228 Assorted Cookies
Path 3 Moonlight: 7034 Moonlight Wreathsterias + 228 Assorted Cookies

End of Path 1 requires 423 Assorted Cookies for the cloudrow, 3 x 423 Assorted Cookies for 3 givers (size 1x2) worth 160 x level EP/TEP + 100% boost EP/TEP for workshops/stables/trees (optional - EP/TEP reward better than the Hamster Flytrap).

Drops needed to complete all Part 1 : 2376 Assorted Cookies

Part 2:

Introduced a new event crop that needs to be milled too. This time the festive candles will be ended out once Part 1 as been all cleared! Each path will reward a Key (Farm/Island/Moonlight) that are required to get the festive candles.

A few barn items are required to do the first 9 steps. They are:

100 cranberries & 100 pumpkins (main crops)
8 reindeers (main animal)
60 Chrismas tree ornaments & 60 Pine cones (main trees - level 56 for pine?)
100 gingers (baha crops - Room 8, third crop statue (89 Golden Bananas to get to that crop in that room)
8 camels (baha animal - Room 6, third animal statue)
100 Tombstones & 100 BoneTrees (Moonlight Mania crops)

I do not know if these barn items can prevent players from completing Step 2.

After that the Festive Wreathsteria crop is needed:

Festive Wreathsteria 7h30 on Main field and Full Moon Field only

To complete Part 2:

9431 Festive Wreathsterias + 586 Assorted Cookies

Part 3:

This part of the event is a mini-game where players need to come up with new combinations of 4 toys (out of 5) to win some prizes and Star Coins. The Star Coin shops has 1 Piccolo Box, 2 Crates O'Neon Stables I, 1 Yellow Windigo upgrade, the last cloudrow and 2 charged givers (optionals).

Each mini-game requires 2 Order Books to be played.

Each player will start the event with 4 Order Books
Finishing Part 1: 20 Order Books
Finishing Part 2: 16 Order Books
Total: 40 Order Books (20 mini games)

To get all the prizes from the event screen, players need to play 50 mini-games (need at least 100 Order Books). Please, keep track of what combos you've used so as to not lose time, a player will not get a bonus prize if they doesn't play a new combination. There's 5 coloured items: red, pink, green, blue, yellow. Each prize offered per combination is not the same for everyone, beware!

There are 3 tiles in Part 1 (#6/16/26) that will be countdown tiles with a reset time of 24h that will reward 2 Order Books each. Also 2 tiles in Part 2: #40 rewards 2 Order Books and Tile #50 will reward 4 Order Books also with 24h reset time.

Nordias, The FAQ has stated that we do not get drops of Assorted Cookies from The Rainforest and The Green Meadow only from [Bahamarama Plantation, Main Field and Full Moon Field only from Crops or Trees ]

2376 Assorted Cookies is a lot Just from Three Fields for Part 1 of this Event it wont be easy for any of us to have heaps of time doing this event There is bound to be lost idle time during this event

But do not panic . Some of us can get instant drops of using SG Love Booster on Main Field for instant drops of Assorted Cookies if you fall short if we getting poor drops of Assorted Cookies or lost Idle time not reaping those Fields in Time

I am one of those whom do not buy Baskets for Events, As Magical Glade is not required for this event, I would place any Super Tree or Suzy Tree you may have there as i constantly Leave mine there by all means use all Tree Booster Cloud Rows and Tree Harvest Booster Gold Slot

As Nordias has pointed out we need to unlock those 6 Tiles [4 from Part 1 , 2 from Part 2] that reward us Order books that are require for Part 3 of this event Good luck unlocking those tiles asap Try to refrain from lost idle time to reset these tiles every 24 hours i will try set a 24 hour routine it make sense this is done before you goto Bed lol

Despite being away and not really doing much more than one harvest most days, I did actually manage to prep for this event yesterday so I think I am doing well with drops so far with 270 from just the Plantation and MM field, with a field of Amaranth still to harvest.

I think you can guess that I am in for this one - will rush the crops on with the SG and SSG I have saved by skipping a few events!

Don't forget: When you get the 5 seeds every 5 hours, put them at the back of the Mill queue, stop them from actually being milled, and keep removing them and adding the extra 5 every 5 hours so you can have a bunch of seeds to sow ready for the next section! And, for me also a reminder, make sure you are milling the next crop and not the one you have been milling before!

I hope that makes sense but if not, let me know and I will try again - a bit travel weary and fighting off a nasty cold - I haven't had an actual cold for about five years, not since the start of Covid!

Made the correction, I logged in last night and saw that no guide had been made... Just reread the FAQ, grabbed paper and pen and started scribbling!

I added the 9 differents barn items needed in Step 2, if I remember correctly from last year, all 9 boxes must be filled to get the Festive Candles. So for some players the baha stuff will be impossible to get (up to Room 8 in the Golden Bananas Temple).

EDIT: Changed the infos in post with the fact that we could chose where to start (that wasn't clear in the FAQ but now with the up/down arrows at the bottom left of the event screen we can move around).

 

I had exactly 176 plots of Amaranth and it showed that I got 176 drops! I didn't check it but I thought it looked like a great result. Shame that even with water and manure, it still takes so long but might be worth adding some yellow goo later if not getting enough drops.

 

Just read somewhat conflicting info about where we can start on other threads. We can start with any field? I thought we had to start with the island first, then to main, then to moonlight. If I would have known that would have started with moonlight. From the FAQ it seemed like we had to do it in order, but my brain is a little discombobulated. And there is a lot of info to process lol.

 

Do not forget to look Top part of event! There are blue boxes to be packed and one of them gives books every 24h. Those deliveries are just barn items.

I shall skip this event and just focus on MM quests and completing the Season. Any friends who see this, please don't send me event drop items, but give them to those who are playing.

To complete tasks you will have to click on the stones along the chosen trail to illuminate them. You can begin at any of the starting points on any trail (tiles 1, 11 or 21).

 

I looked at the FAQ yesterday. Saw that no one had attempted a strategy thread and was not surprised as what a holy moly bunch of stuff it is (in my mind swear words may have been substituted for "holy moly" and "stuff").

Yesterday was a very busy day for me and I did not return to my farms until this morning. In the light of day (barely, remember - tomorrow is the shortest day of the year, and I suppose it could be worse, we could live in Alaska or the Yukon, oh wait, we have friends and neighbors in Finland - folks I feel for ya!)...sorry for the digression...in the light of day, I still don't know if I'm doing this event on all three farms all the way. In the past, I've tackled parts of this event on the baby farms. pfft. Not sure if I'm doing any of that this year.

Anyway, I'm going to get going on this event on the usual 3 farms and then figure out what the baby farms are capable of doing, if anything, since they are NOT going to grow event crops.

And a HUGE (HUGE!) thank you to NIKNAR for posting that cheat sheet for the mini-game! And THANK YOU to Northy, too, for starting the thread and for attempting to sort it out so we might know what we're doing (I still don't).

 

What is identified as "TOP" is actually Part 2 ans is also accessible by the middle door in the event screen... So much going on in this event. I would have loved to see numbers appear on the boxes to make things easier to locate.

• Goto event page click Door on the Left
• This Take you to Reindeer Express #1, Click Play
• Click the Top Tab until you see light blue boxes
• 1} Donate 100 Cranberries to First Box
• 2} Donate 8 Raindeer to Second Box
• 3} Donate 60 Christmas Tree Ornaments
• This unlock you 1st Special Box that gives you 2 Book orders every 24 hours
• Then click the Bottom Tab
• Donate your Silver Key to Box with Pink Ribbon Wrapped on it
• Mill your 5 x Farm Wreathsteria, using 2x2 Field on Main Farm nuke these crops build up enough crops to fill Main Field and Green Meadow as you need to grow at least 3164 Farm Wreathsteria becareful not to donate too much allow at least 404 of them for reseeding
• This unlock your 2nd Special Box that gives you 2 Book Orders every 24 Hours
• Donate 1807 Farm Wreathsteria
• Donate 2032 Farm Wreathsteria
• Donate 2258 Farm Wreathsteria [Unlock Farm key]
• Donate 2258 Farm Wreathsteria [Unlock Silver Key]
• Use Scroll Feature to Scroll to the Bottom
• Use Silver Key unlock Box in the Pier [Gives you 9,999 Island Candles]

Hello, I am trying to do this activity. I solved most parts of the event Can you send me 'mixed cookies' drops? If you have space for me, can you add me as your neighbor? There was a small problem with my account and it was fixed today. @Farmers.Almanac said I can now use my account. There are a few areas in my green meadow that I can't clear. I need to make room for my other plants other than the event plants.
