A bit of help/info if it has not already been mentioned:

30 star coins for each three consecutive games by using the same combination (no extra rewards, just star coins).

green - blue - pink - yellow
(this may be different for everyone - just check the original combination that gave you 30 coins.....rinse and repeat!)

The star coin symbol appeared on the orange light.

Doing it this way you don't get extra rewards, but testing with three consecutive games, I was rewarded with 30 star coins for each of these three games.

I now have a glimmer of hope to get the CR and two givers.

Hopefully this will work again when I have some more order books.


Update - I just played another three games like this and each game gave 30 star coins.

 

I redeemed the first giver item. Now aiming for the 2nd one. Highest star coins I got was 25. Still waiting for the golden reward of 30 star coins.

I will try it as soon as I stumble upon the 30 coin, Growalot. But in case I do not get 30, I will try with 25 as a last resort.

 

My best combination gave 80 star coins: 50+30

 

There is 1 PF Breeding going on. I am filling with scorpions and raccoons based on the rumors for next week neon breeding event.

First I had the flu and the DH nursed me through. Yesterday was his turn. So now we're even. Like we're keeping score (trust me, after this many years we aren't).

So I've decided that I don't care if this farm or PM23's gets the last CR. Doing what I can do. Have other things I have to do today - like go to the grocery store. Out of bread.

 

@dumbunny - best wishes for you and your former Squid. The game is unimportant. Bread is very necessary!

Glad you are on the mend (not so) Dumbunny. I did the same to my hubby - I got it and five days later he got it. So generous of us to share!

I have finished the 50 games and will continue to collect the Order Books. I am going for a green light every time and have yet to get the elusive Emperor Scorpion or very many Star Coins now I have got the EP items for the CR. I get about one lot in three games. C'est la vie!

Hi Everyone Today is New Years Eve, Last Night I won 45 Star Coins got enough to buy the Two givers for 330 Star Coins. I have been aiming to get lucky to win good prizes FOCUS on ? Crossing my Fingers

So far I have won three bundles of Level 4,5 and 6 Breeding Animals, won some wonder stables and tree seedings I have not won Emperor Scorpion yet either I am crossing my fingers for all of us to win Emperor Scorpion before this event ends

It is very very rare to win/gain high level breeding animal during events via mini games or fill event quest quota I think farmerama should give us better rewards for high level breeding animals, Because we hardly get any super skips during breeding I miss the old breeding format enjoy reading postings winning high level breeding animals under the old forum

The Event FAQ North Pole Adventure has mislead us into thinking we win Star Coins in every Order Books mini game played as we needed Star Coins to buy CR + two givers hardly any star coins to buy other stuff in the shop as we are not able get star coins in every game

Alternatively find farming strategies to gain any means to gain Farm Coins buy good stuff on a monthly basis

Glad you are getting better, it not easy when someone has a cold, Flu or Covid , I am not in current relationship as me being Deaf live in two worlds hearing and Deaf I use Sign Language British Sign Language, it not easy at all having or trying relationship with Deaf Lady That is one of reason i play farmerama get my mind of things with my mental health

Small Hint - You can "only click" your best Star coins combo from the list, no need to select again and again...

 

Just got the cloud row with the festive wreathsteria crop, I still have to do one more harvest to get the side prizes of part 2. I'm also missing Star Coins to get the last cloud row (10 on my main farm, got it all in my baby farm!).

I haven't played as agressively as in the last past years, I'm wondering how much star coins one can get in total with playing the 120 combos?

well ive jsut played 6 wrapping games...and got NO star coins. how you supposed to get the cr when you are rewarded with ep /tep or things like toolboxes????

think im sacking this event off as a bad experience...with badly thought out game mechanics!

 

On my fifth game, I got a combination that gave me 30 stars and stuck to it until I got every prize I wanted from the shop. This pragmatism was efficient, no doubt, but made the game absolutely boring
Now I'm trying different combinations looking for that scorpion

Flower - THAT's how you do it! PM23's farm got 30 star coins on about the 6th game - hasn't played a different combo since.

Upa70 - I know how you feel - and not just about the event - the whole game.

Mooboy - Is BSL harder/more difficult to learn than ASL? I have regular customers, a couple, and they sign because his mother is deaf. I have met her and I wish I could sign. They always translate for me. My MIL complains a lot about my FIL. He's now "mostly deaf" (I know, in a way I'm being funny referencing The Princess Bride, but it's really not funny) - she's frustrated and unwilling to change and he won't wear hearing aids and doesn't care. The other day she was complaining and I suggested a small white board and a dry erase marker. I think she thought about hanging up on me. So if this is what turns your sheep green, I get it. I look at my husband (cut from the same piece of cloth as my FIL) and know that we're heading down the same slippery slope. I hope that 2024 is the year you find a friend and aren't so lonely.

Happy 2024 to us all! Very glad to leave 2023 in the dust. Time for a fresh start!

I am finally done with this. I never did find a combination that gave 30 coins or better, got 25 on the 21st attempt and went with that for the rest of it, got the cloud row, the piccolo and the harvester coupons with no coins left over, so all good.
the minigame was a bit tedious for me because it was soooo slow and kept crashing the client

the CR & Givers was claimed last year. 74 mini-games played, the scorpion popped up sometime to my huge surprise. I guess I had some luck due for a crappy 2023. In addition, I claimed a crate of winter gift, but by then my luck had run out and didn't get any worth mentioned. I have now 80 star coins, and no idea of what to spend them on.

@dumbunny Just Do It, learn sign language, if nothing else the gray matter get some exercise and keeps it working longer.
@Mooboy Madness of Farmerama the way to good mental health indeed. Sanity is clearly overrated

@upa70 6 games isn't enough for the randomness to go in your favour. It takes some tried to be the lucky duckie.

Colour me very happy indeed! Whoop whoop!

I bought the Piccolo Box and the Crate O' Buffs - got a +100% Stable Revenue - happy with that. I will probably go for the PF with anything else I get but on the whole, happy with my haul!
