not able to give gifts more than every other day

For some time now -- at least a week, but probably a lot more, I can only give gifts every other day, rather than every day as I should. Rebooting, clearing cache, etc, etc, does not work.

Hello woody,

Is it just through the Neighbour Bar you are having trouble from? Are you able to send Gifts through the Post Office or From the Gift tab available from the News page?
Are you trying to gift at the same time each day? Remember the gifts reset at midnight CET, you may be trying twice in the same 24hr period.

I am only having trouble with the neighbor bar. I thought that might be the case at first, that you reset it with each new day, though for a long time (over a year), the reset of the Fuzzle (or wuzzy..??? whatever, lol) also meant my neighbors were resetting. This would be at 6PM Eastern Standard (US) time. I did think maybe that part had changed, but when I log in then next morning, I still cannot always give a gift. Its not exactly every other day. Some days I can give a new gift immediately after fuzzle resets. Other days, not until the next morning and other days not for another full day.

I am not having trouble with other types of gifts, only gifting my neighbors.

 

I will forward this info on to see if there are any known issues. Will have an Admin check your account when one is available.

Will update when we have more info.

There doesn't seem to be a problem with your account, the gifts or the reset, but I will check again immediately after midnight tonight to see if the gifts reset as they should.

I will update you tonight - please do the same when you log into the farm after the daily reset.

It reset today as it should. I am hoping the issue is resolved and that it won't repeat itself. If nothing happens in a few days, go ahead and close the issue/thread.

(PS I know it sounds strange and as if I might have just goofed, but I waited until I was absolutely sure it was happening more than once before posting .. thank you for your attention).
