Octo-tastic Monstercare

Couldn't count on wheel this time, so reluctantly (lol), used jacks. One harvest of terror eggplant and event completed!

Event and Quest both completed I did not get or need to use anything special I just needed to plant and harvest on time, which I was able to do. For the quest I was able to grow the 3,000 Vampire lilies we needed and the rest of the things I already had in my barn! Good Luck everyone, there is still plenty of time to reach your goals! Now I need to go to MM fields to refill my barn ha ha

 

Finished all last night. Was lucky with crate buffs before MM as I received one Overall Revenue +1 and two Plant +1 which I kept for MM to get the most farming 'bang for the buck' Had a few CR MM boosters which helped as well. Used a PP to squeeze the most time from all these. When they ran out, I used a CAC, the other Plant+1 and Terror Bouquet and again PP. Followed others' advice to get the crops first then do the long grows for drops. In retrospect, I think drops were good enough depending on crops. I averaged between 25-30 for a field of event crop and 63-68 for a field of 10/12 crops.

As per usual, this farm is the laggard. Not quite enough plants last night to get the CR. Should have enough with this morning's harvest. So almost done.

 

Main farm finished yesterday, baby farm is lagging tho, missing 3 full harvests to finish the event. Of course missing about 100 drops, but the 3 full harvests should do it there. The second set of givers is quite nice, I'll have to redo/rebalance givers in my museums and parks.

Last time I did that I was able to push morning giver harvests up to just over 1 billion EP per day. Beofre that I'll have to open the 24 Piccolo boxes I have in inventory...

 

I have finished this event today, I did not have any luck on the wheel to boost event crops, Just did it in my stride, i mostly used water, sometimes use manure too

I only rush to stop up these event crops if i am lucky but not this time, It can be done using CAC with normal farming without buffs

I did grow some vampire lily as they are needed with new quest, I do not find this new quest that rewarding i only do part of that quest I can build Necronomicon Printers in the workshop with surplus tools in my barn, also these tools can be recovered from tool drops outside or during events, rather donating lots of MM stock on the new quest.

Like i have said not long ago I find event rewards more rewarding that rewards from quests, we do get really good rewards for quests but not many quests are that rewarding i have quiet a few quests in my barn that are incomplete

I am now growing MM Crops to work on couple MM Quests before this event ends i did not have issue with Baby Rattle drops i am please with that as i do enjoy MM events
Also it is nice to stock up on newer spooky crops too

This CR is really worth getting, So i will leave out Midnight Oak Trees, Terror Eggplants, Perhaps Mothing Lairs

Busy day today, so I finally can catch up on low MM crops, but, maybe not?

 

Baby farm completed the event last evening, I just did 4 harvests per day and drops were enough and followed crops. The second set of givers is quite good. I need to start working on opening shipwreak creek and dump givers there *sigh*

I've aligned the new cloud row with all of my MM cloud row boosters, the terror eggplant is a great overnight crop and knowing that it will be available with the other MM cloud rows makes it easier to plan. I have my MM stuff timed with the 10% time reduction for flowers for 24h cloud row (48h cool down time) and the next 24h I'm using the +1 veggie 24h cloud row (also 48h cool down). Like this I know exacyly where I'm at and planning all MM stuff is easiest. I've made sure that both my main & baby farms are at the same point cloud row-wise, so no headaches juggling two different things.

 

Just donated last items to complete event, 5 BBs in my pocket and a Piccolo in my barn, woot woot! On a side note, does the Octo-tastic Monsterhouse farmhouse quest continue after event is over? The way I read the FAQs, it will remain after the current event ends, but I have been known to misread FAQs .

 

I finished too. Got 5 BBs and a piccolo box. Yeah ! I think the FAQ continues. But I am too known to misread FAQs. With lots of heavy workloads of late, I now a days don't read any of the FAQ comprehensively. Just blindly do the events. I am waiting for the time when the good old days where I can log in and stay in the game for few hours a day will come back. Will it ? But I am optimistic. Anything can happen any time.

 

Yes, the MM quest will remain, introduced by the new Vampire Lily MM crop.

 

I think the quest continues after the event is over, as it is not a timed one.
