My first attempt i got 40 ...didn't dare to do anymore
This is harder then the last Ingrid event ...we have more things to choose from...
Can't remember having that many in the last event

 

40 isn't bad Nellie, the numbers added by Decrees (Thank you again) was based on 40 points every try. I'll try as soon as I've done some overtime work... which just have to wait until I've farmed and chatted here. The rest of the world may not know what is important but I know to prioritize the right stuff

 

@farmer_broke just plant those junk, make Ingird sing, and go pick yourself some prizes!!

I usually just go with the flow but I must say this new way IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!

 

Hmm, I'm not sure which prizes to choose... I want everything but the super-grow, pinkie pies, chocolate syrup recipe, and sticker.

Just a strategy note, in the middle section of Ingrid's song there are 5 options and they'll each always be 1-5 bars with no duplicates. So you can choose a different one each time and know which is the 5 bar for the 5th round. For the left and right sides, when I guess on my 5th try I usually end up worse off so I'd recommend not chancing it with those.

I have no idea, if there is any kind of system behind it. To me it seems quite random.

But at least, I am getting the star coins I want.

Obviously the drop rate for Vial is set quite low. I mean 5 vials on a 200 square field with event plants feels like an insult. To keep the drops somewhat in line with the grow of Honey Pitcher I strongly suggest to have at least 2 full fields with longtimers (14hrs+) overnight and if possible 1 field during daytime as well.

I do so just because I dislike having to wait for drops and/or to be forced to plant refined SSG carnations during the last hours of the event just to finish for what I want to get out of this event.

PS. I did not find any new clues on pairing up the Song section. Sometimes I'm lucky to go by colour but most times I still select it pretty much at random.

 

As far as I can tell it's random - at least I'm not seeing any visual clues. This farm is having some issues making Ingrid warble. Sewinglady's farm is having somewhat better luck. Have no clue why... But I will say this - I feel terribly sorry for whomever lent their actual voice for recordings for Ingrid's singing. terribly terribly sorry. Last night my husband asked me what all that caterwauling was coming from my office. oops.

 

Does anyone know what the box of birds is?

 

I'm thinking something like 5 random birds (ostrich, ducks, geese...)

That is great, anything that helps to fill our barns with animals is a good thing.
Although I can hear a little birdie in my ear saying... what they giveth, they taketh away lol

 

With the late beginning and low drop rate noticed and RL also, this farm is letting the drops guide the junks growing. (about 460 drops and 3,600 junks now and no real effort or help I'm sorry to be able to say )

I da know. To get a million out of the cloud row it would take harvesting 2 times a day for 2 1/2 years which I know in advance I won't do. Don't care about the EP so no loss.

The pf (60) won't cure the PFDS (power feed deficiency syndrome) on this farm. I use the scheme in the market regularly. Why not take a loss on 100 to list 2,000 at a higher low on the market. BP uses the same old gimmick: take a loss on 60 to sell an individual 300 or so...... (giveth ... take away.)

That 60 isn't even enough to put in my 128 chicken pens to give the chickens a treat and let um enjoy it for a week.

The way these good people have influenced me is down right sickening now.

Now that's a story I don't care to remember. I just heard the sad song from a lady friend earlier this week and it went like this: "You just want me around so I'll plant and harvest on your stupid old fake farm." WOW! She's pretty smart is all I can say! (Efforts wasted again. I was really only trying to bring out the best in her. Failed effort thus far. )

I also asked the lady boss during work hours at work whether she would harvest my farm for me?
And the answer received was: Are you insane?
(I saw no need to answer the question and create more of a problem for myself.)

They just don't make ladies like they use to.

Thoughts of the farm wife (tlcmom) make my heart go pitter-plunky-poooo!

Sorry to be so glum about life on this farm but growing junks is turning from dirt to disaster.

I think you have "junks flu" where everything on the farm is out of control! Hang in there it will get better!

 

I share in everyone's dismay at the lack of info at the beginning of the event

I kept an eye on the events page and prepared well the night before, crossed fingers and anything else hoped for the best.
The event started as planned and got 100 drops from first harvest.
I have picked out all the prizes I want and calculated how much event crops to grow, then just harvest crops to collect drops.

My first two attempts went well with both 50 stars, just 18 more to go. I will be relaxed about this one and chill

 

My Farm was in German this morning when i Signed in .

Oberschnatter very kindly helped me get back to the EN game

And still no manure in the market

I'm doing ok on the singing, only got 40 once, the rest were 50. I think it has to do with similarity of shape (choir members' bows) and shape/colour for the songs (the red icons in one group, spiky ones - sun, fire, crown - in another etc.). If I get less than four dots I switch to another group. The band is easy as there are only 5. I hope this is helpful to anyone...
