I turned OFF the speakers on my first try

 

I think it is fun to hear Ingrid sing! even though quite badly at times. I know there are a lot worse sounds I could be listening too!

 

I set up an SOS thread listed under Septemberfest. Never done it before so........at least it is there for people to use

 

It's a prize received from the new Birdhouse Cloud Row.

In the event FAQs, in the thread Farmwheel Fun Days, they just posted this: The player will receive a wooden box, which includes either a basic bird or a breeding animal up to breeding level 4.

I could fill at least two of the birdhouse cloudrow, if only i could use 5 castlebirdstone and 3 cottage birdstones only

Hoping, that there is another way to get the missing ones than through the farm wheel. I never get the pagoda one, even when it is on the wheel.

I am going for miscellaneous rewards first. I have the music on. Won't miss it for anything. Only one out of 5 tries gives hearable music. Others......
If others are nearby I switch it off. Why should they suffer My brother wanted to know what that sound was ?

The expression on Axe throwing Ingrid is better than Singing Ingrid. Poor Singing Ingrid, it will sure to get throat ache & all other complications singing for such thousands of people.

How far along is everyone in this event? A little into day 3, and I have just under 800 star coins (my singing was off key on a few rounds), don't see how it's at all possible to get everything. This Ingrid seems much more difficult than last one, and prize prices a bit much, at least to me. Last time prices were much more reasonable, this time reminds me of the soccer event - no humanly way to attain enough coins to get everything. More difficult to guess correct combos, too, for me anyway. Granted, I've not had huge amounts of time to farm, and my frame of mind isn't my normal weird self, but this event seems to lean more towards hard difficulty level rather than medium. Was glad to see they seemed to listen to all our crying and gnashing of teeth, and are giving us a break this month on constant events, was becoming overwhelming. Hope everyone's enjoying themselves, and hearing more beautiful music than screeching.

(Pssst...12ss12! Can I be a viking too? I may not get enough coins to get the sticker this time, but I've got the last Ingrid sticker, and most others also, and I'd really like to be part of your army).

Too funny, my cell phone just rang, and the ringtone is the country song Ol' Red, about a hound dog, and our hound Moose could hear it, and he started mooing along with it.

 

Am not very good at this game anyone have the secret of how to get the 50 combination every time have got 434 star coins so far

song - Sometimes if sun gives you more green lights, try for flower. You might get 5 out of 5 ( they both have all round rays/flowery edges.
band - Sometimes if frog gives you 2 or more than 1, then try raccoon. (that's because of the mouth shape)
choir - If it isn't sheep & fox gives you good green lights, try raccoon (that's because of the mouth shape)

Sirpippen, After I searched the net for 13th warrior, then somehow landed on information Mythology by Edith Hamilton. Now I am trying to get a free copy of the book from the net & its not available. But Vikings never say die. I will get the copy somehow.

 

12, Antonio Banderas did film version of The 13th Warrior, can't seem to remember the details right now, but seems like I remember it being not too bad.

bloody - I thought so on seeing the pictures. I don't like movies that have gruesome or insensitive violence bloody scenes. Usually don't see them. I saw Pirates of Caribbean Sea - III. Even though I liked Jack sparrow & his acting. Especially when he says that he used his hair as ropes to tie the tortoise, I couldn't refrain from smiling. But I din't see it the 2nd time. I could stand that wooden eyes etc., etc. I liked the scene when they say that the blood of the heroine is needed & I was expecting that they would slaughter her. And you should imagine my surprise when they just pricked her finger for blood drops. It was very amusing.

Hurrah ! I got the Mythology book.

I have been dong fairly well with the guessing - my latest strategy with the songs is by genre - warrior or general songs do better - she doesn't win with love songs - Actually when reviewing others wins - 12 won with love songs twice (rose and heart) - (the name of the songs appear when you hover over the icon) I will work out the specifics of my strategy. [When I get MORE vials!!!!]

I was referring to the Movie version of "The 13th Warrior". Which did indeed have Antonio Banderas in the lead roll.
The story is about a man, having fallen in love with the wrong woman, is sent by the sultan himself on a diplomatic mission to a distant land as an ambassador. Stopping at a Viking village port to restock on supplies, he finds himself unwittingly embroiled on a quest to banish a mysterious threat in a distant Viking land. Oh and you're correct about the "Bloody" part. After all, It is about Vikings and their battles.

Seeing as how I now serve a Viking Queen (ALL HAIL QUEEN MEBA!), The story struck a nerve and seemed appropriate.
