OK.. when does MM start?

MM is supposed to start on the 23rd.. its 1:33am on the 23rd and its still not open. So, when does it open in the US? I've been told Europe is already playing the game. When can the US play? And when it ends and closes, does that also mean the US gets less play time?

 

The game isn't based on US time. It starts at 14:00 CET time, which I believe is in 3 hours (it might be 2). Europe isn't already playing the game. It opens for everyone at the same time, but the physical time of day it opens for you will depend on your location. For me, the opening time is midnight/11pm. Regardless, the game is accessible to everyone at the same time, for the same length of time.

 

@shetaz71 I am in the USA also. The 14:00 CET time for me is 8 am. I am 6 hours behind the CET time. So whatever time BP posts for things I just have to minus 6 HOURS from it. Depends where you are in the USA your hours from CET can be different then mine. I hope this helps you.

 

I have a friend in England that was already playing before it was open in the States.

 

You do have to remember to refresh the game to see new events. Did you already have your farm open?

 

That's impossible. The game doesn't work like that, it never has. As farmerumf said, you need to refresh if you're already on the farm when the event starts. Regardless, when the original question was asked, it was not yet 14:00 CET, so the game would not have been open for anyone anyway, meaning the US was not delayed. If it had been opened early for any particular location, there would have been an announcement.
