Open up G & T market with new trade ticket

I was a bit surprised to find that we are limited to our own market for G & T trades. How about opening it up a bit? To keep things in control, this offering would have to be much more limited.

1. offer 1 and only 1 of these new super trader tickets.
2. put purchase price for additional tickets at 2BB, rather than 1 BB.
3. Limit the number of trades one can post to 1 at a time, though you may allow multiple items to be traded in one offering (for multiple tickets).
4. To fix an issue already mentioned with regular G & T trades, identify trades for multiple items in some way -- it could be something like a star next to multiples, or a different color for the box around the item or perhaps even a small number next to to the item. I realize this has been suggested for the regular G & T trade markets, but even if you cannot do that in the regular market, you might be able to do it in this new market. A bonus would be to have these items sorted, with single offerings first, then multiples, etc (or reverse-- multiples first)
5. to avoid some abuse, limit the level at which people can participate in this broader market.

 

woody - I would love to open up Gift and trade to other markets but unless a search function is implemented, I would not use this feature to search through offers. There are too many pages now in just my own market to wade through to see if I can find something I like. If BP would expand the actual listing window to show all offers on the page so you don't have to scroll would be a start. I know that I am not alone when I say that Gift and Trade is hard on the hands with all the clicking and scrolling we have to do. It is a great idea and if there were new tickets, I would probably list something and hope someone else who can sort through that many offers would pick mine rather than actually look myself.

 

I don't think it's (simply) technically possible for G&T to be across different markets. If it was, they would do it with markets too.
The think I hate about multi-trades is the person who want multiple items in return should pay the multiple licenses.
If someone wants 10 of my items, for their item, why should I have to use 10 licenses. If they want to be greedy, let them use 10 licenses.
there is a limit to the number of trades you can make, it's 5!

 

I think size is the biggest issue, but that is why I said limit it to 1 trade.. maybe even one trade per G & T event, with no repurchase if needed. Also, you would have to be a certain level before you could participate.

Both of those things should cut down on the junk offers, and make the new expanded G & T market much easier to manage than now. We sort of have an unofficial "market" in the forums, but with only a few people going there each time, the options are just getting limited.
