Opening this thread for anyone having trouble IGM'ing other players.

Apparently some are saying they have not been receiving their IGM's so I have opened this thread up as we are not allowed to do this in the other threads. Hopefully those involved will see it. @Decree , I know there was 2 or 3 of us that had posted in the G&T thread that we hadn't got responses from you but our posts were removed as it's not the appropriate place to put this info. Obviously you might just have not wanted to reply which is entirely your call but if it's because you didn't receive our igm's then please use this thread to communicate with us. I have checked with Mods and apparently it's okay to do that here.

Your sig states main farm level 73 but the farm under Decree is showing level 1 ( I imagine your getting nothing but chicken pens.)
Perhaps you have another farm name ?

I get the same thing as others...shows that you are Level 1. I can send a few rare Baha trees or chicken pens.

 

I want to say thanks to you guys. I've posted in the technical issues forums and am still waiting on a response. I've known that I wasn't able to receive IGMs since I started playing the game because my father had been trying to message me. For some reason I just wrote it off as an issue with only one player. It seems pretty obvious that this isn't an isolated case. I'm hopeful they will be able to fix whatever the problem is.

I guess I have no luck...

The response was that the issue would not be able to be fixed until Monday.

If anyone has room for an extra neighbor I know for a fact that I can gift and receive neighbors as I've done that already. The only issue is that I have to invite you to be my neighbor because of the inactive farm name showing up if you try to add me.

Again...thanks for all the support you have shown. Maybe next Gift and Trade I'll be able to participate.

 

Hi @Decree . Are you receiving gifts/trades for your farm? I've seen your list on G&T and igm'd you about something but obviously you didn't get it. I hope the Tech team are looking into this for you? Btw, I sent you a CAC a week or so ago, do you know if you got it? Only asking as I don't wanna keep sending stuff if you're not receiving it. Hope this all gets sorted for you soon!

EDIT-Think I have room for a new neighbour if you wanna try @Decree ?? Btw, just so you know, you're not supposed to double post. Either wait for someone else to post on the thread after yours or just edit your post like I have done mine here. It's just one of the rules that's all.

I also tried to send you something but can only send rare Baha trees or chicken pens. Sorry must be frustrating! I'll keep an eye out for you next time around. If you do happen to need a Star fruit, Brazil nut, pistachio or pomegranate then I would be happy to send one along.

 

Clashstrummer, I would be a bit careful, it might go to the old inactive account and not reach Decree at all Would be a pity to waste both a tree and a licence. Before sending anything I think I would ask the mods if there is any chance Decree would get the tree. Maybe sending a bread roll or another artisan product could work as a test to see if Decree actually gets what you send. I really don't know, but would be a bit careful.

You poor thing. How unfair and untimely. Make sure when the next G&T comes along, make sure you mention these problems to jog our minds. I would definitely send you something to make up for this frustrating G&T.

@fifitrixiebell I updated my last post to have both posts so it wouldn't be a double post. Thanks for that tip! I've sent a request for neighbor, so hopefully that works. Also, I can say for certain I did not get the CAC. I'm sorry it was wasted. I had no idea that the game was not functioning properly for me.

It's a bit disheartening to be missing out on this event, but the positive to come from this is that it makes me want to work even harder not to miss anything until the next G&T event comes along, and you've all been so very supportive. This game has a great community!

 

Hi Decree - I show you in my buddy list at your correct farm level and when I try to send you items, the window opens up with more than just the couple of basic things you get for level 1. However, since you are not getting any of our IGMs or the crafted items, I don't know if you can receive gifts or not. I am sorry for all the technical difficulties (I once had messages to go another farmer's Inbox but they were inactive and could not access their account any longer so no privacy was compromised) and that it won't be resolved before this Gift and Trade is over but as Mir has said, next time we can catch you up. Good luck!

 

Completely understandable as there's no reason to take the risk if we aren't 100% sure. I've been able to get a couple of trees from one of my neighbors, but again, there's no certainty with buddy list gifts.

 

AniE is another player who is locked out of her account and created a new account. Hopefully all farms affected will be fixed soon.
