Other crops - does that mean event plants?

Hi Mods,

Looking through the different buffs and I'm wondering what is meant by 'other crops'.
Does that mean that these buffs will speed up the growth of event plants or are they not considered 'other crops'? Where can I possibly find a list of 'other crops'?

There are 4 Crop categories in the game: vegetables, flowers, grains and other. Click on the link to see a list of the crops in each category. Event crops are not considered 'other crops' but rather a category 'event crop.'

Just one more question: Are the any buffs that will speed up growing time for event crops?

The only things that work on speeding up event crops are water, manure and super grow. Super grow does have buffs that make it more efficient like white innocence and fruit cake.
