I usually don't comment on feedback threads, but thought I would add some thoughts. First, I would have to say that I agree with many who are listing pros and cons to the event.

I was glad when BP started adding into their FAQ a measurement of how difficult an event would be, but I think it would be more helpful to have further distinction. For instance, to me, it seemed that drops were easy to get (especially if one had been able to plan a longer-timed crop or animals to be ready right as the event started). However, the time-management and planning of this event was very difficult to impossible for many farmers, as it was only 48 hours long. If it was not summer, or if I had to work during this event, I most likely would not been able to complete it.

As a long-time player of this game, I like to complete events. It's part of the joy of playing the game! You work hard to unlock everything on your farm so you can finish events. To cut the time down to 2 days just doesn't seem fair to those who have worked hard to get where they are. I have heard many express that they are frustrated with the shortness of this event, and in some case feel like they are being punished because of time-zone differences, family/work commitments, harvester/flash problems, etc. Because of things beyond their control, they end up not being able to complete what they would have wanted to due to a lack of a day or so of extra time. To those customers who love the game, but have time-limited factors, these extra days of "wiggle room" are essential to being a satisfied customer.

Each farmer has a strategy for how they like to spend money/BBs on the game. To place farmers in a situation where they feel like the only way they can complete an event is by buying an event basket and then using up carefully stockpiled or purchased items like super-grow, only causes frustration and disappointment.

In the Cinema survey, it asks about the question of how important are different aspects to the game. One of them is, "Fairness: Each player has an equal chance to succeed." I don't mind events that are hard to complete, but to me fairness means more that a lower-leveled farmer may not be able to complete part of an event, as they haven't unlocked a crop like raspberries yet. Cutting the time of an event so only those able to log on at the start of the event and then log on repeatedly or overnight are able to finish does not seem very fair to me.

In closing, I think it's also important to be aware of the changes in the manure market for this event. In my market, when the event started, manure prices were still pretty low. (During Moonlight Mania they were 2CCs for a long time and towards the end of the event manure was maybe up to 30 or 40CCs. Since it was priced so low, at the end, it flew off the market as fast as it could be produced!) When this 2 day event started, manure was someone in the range of 20 CCs each. As the event went on, it continued to rise in price. In the past events, I have seen manure climb as high as the 200s. Once, I even saw it at 295 CCs each! (What a great time to sell!)
    :D

However in this event, I saw manure listed (and selling) at over 750 CCs each! (And I'm sure it climbed higher last night while I was sleeping!) Many times I would would count how much manure was on the market, and if there was any, it ranged between 1,200-2,00 total units of manure. In other words, there was sometimes enough manure for 2 to 4 players to buy and use on all three fields. I know in the past, that BP has worked on changing the rules of manure to make it more balanced. To me, having such a short timed-event, right after Moonlight Mania, had the opposite effect. (Although those selling manure were quite happy!)

I really liked this event, I like the challenge. I actually found it fairly easy to complete, I didn't have to buy a basket and I didn't even use manure (as it was $700-900.00 in my market.)
I did have to strip my fields but I don't mind the refresh every few months. The only hassle in stripping is that I have all my harvests exactly lined up with my EP pets and that will take a few days to get back in order.
I did get up once at 3AM do to a harvest. I planted Rose Hips during the day so I could do a harvest at work during lunch and everything moved along quickly.

The only down side for me personally is that I don't like mystery trees or stables as a reward. I never... and I mean NEVER have a good result with them so I just end up frustrated. Why go through the motions to complete the level just to get frustrated.

While I managed to finish several hours before the end of the event (which I always try to do because there is always a chance problems on my end that might cause me to miss out: Power outage, computer failure, oversleeping), I feel it is wrong to have penalized farmers that could not log in to the game due to circumstances that even BP has acknowledged were beyond the farmer's control. The event should have been extended until the problem was resolved.

Cutting an event down to just 48 hours (of which at least 8 hours should be spent sleeping) piles loads of stress on players. Labeling the event Medium difficulty when it clearly wasn't makes players frustrated and may even drive them out of the game.

I agree totally with all that CJAT stated... I for one, a long term player (Level 93) was surprised at having to use 2 fields worth of SG in order to finish before the end... The last crops would have finished 30 minutes after end time.. Way too tight... :(

I liked this event. 2 days was tight, but do-able and the drops were good. However, I live in the UK which meant it started at lunch time and I had plenty of time to build up the crops before bedtime. Those that live in different time-zones did not have that luxury. I agree a timer would have been better. I am not keen on events that spread over a week especially when the drops are stressful.

An event which only used one field (like Moonlight Mania) would be perfect. One field, grow lots of crops over several days. No need to uproot all the farm which is so annoying. Even with the Builder function it still takes ages to put everything back out, find all those XXL trees etc.

I finished this event with 12 hours left on the clock. For me, it was a nice challenge and I'm quite happy to have more of those. The prizes were very generous and it was nice to have the Orange goose at a low level which meant more people could grab it easily. Nothing in the later stages was a MUST HAVE which probably made it better for people who didn't have the time available

I liked that it was a 2 day event which made for a refreshing change - too often events just get tedious after the first few hours of actual challenge calculating how to ramp up from the initial seeds.

I did feel for the people who were at work or school. If you're going to have a 2 day event during the week, how about some crops which actually fit round a working day? You could have a small number of 10 hour crops and a larger number of 2 hour crops, perhaps. More people would be able to do that.

I do also think you'd have had a lot fewer complaints if this had been rated as 'hard'.

I enjoyed the event and liked the challenge of the extreme time management. I am fortunate though that I was able to log in often and harvest and also that the event start time was 7am in my time zone. So for me it was fun. I did have to clear all my fields but I needed some rearranging to happen so this was a good excuse to do that. I played for the challenge not for the prizes so if it had been easier I would have found this event quite mediocre.

That being said I do dislike that so many were not able to participate and while I know it's impossible to please everyone this event really seemed to be limited to a minority of players. There were however opportunities to make loads of CC's during this mini-event if one was unable to participate. You could not do both however so for all those that could not do the event I hope you took advantage and sold lots of manure. You're probably better off as while I like the cloud row my results from the mystery stables and trees were extremely bland.

I got 3 Pistachios and 4 Brazil nuts on Baha. An XL Apple on the mainland. Five rare animal stables I already had plenty of (nothing of the newest). This for a level 87 player. Because the cloud row came with the trees, I went ahead and completed the event to get the deco items. Didn't really want another greyed out cloud row. I really need to stop going for those "Mystery" things. They almost always disappoint.

I'm sure any lower level players that completed (if they could complete) the event got items they could really use. But a weekday, 48 hour (really shorter if you count overnights), was more of a hard event, not a "medium". And now we have a short time to prepare for another "special crop" CAC heavy, high quantity "Friendship" event quest that asks for a large amount of a tree fruit one must either buy from the market or spend real money on the tree(s). I know of no other way outside of a G&T to get this tree.

I liked the event though I think it was hard rather than medium.
From trees and stables, the best ones I got were: 2 Sorb apples, 2 Tamarinds, Buddha's hand tree. Rodeo Ranch II Orange, Raccoon, Frog and Stork.:)
Maybe it would have been easier if 60 hours.

I would like the same event requirements but also an extra day(+24 hours).
BigPoint wanted us to use SG and SSG more than once in this event so we can finish it. >:(
