Just my opinion, but I think a valid one way too many special events going at the same time right now... g/t , renzos fair ( which ripped me off to the tune of 100 chips that i did NOT use) shop sale and trying to keep up with farming. G/t has been awesome, as for the rest.. blah.

 

And now Swiss chocolate and MM on its heals...

I also think that to have Renzo's and G&T at the same time is way too much.
I love the G&T and, like many farmers, spend a lot of time checking through the offers on both the forum and the exchange lists - the latter being very laborious as we all know. To then have Renzo appear, an event in which I would like to gain the new egg and therefore need time to concentrate and do it, was hopeless for me so I only gave Renzo a few shots and left it.
There is RL for all or us, after all ! To offer Renzo during another sort of event, where we are often waiting for event crops to mature, would be fine and offer players the variety of activity that it appears BP are trying to do. We currently have so many new quests and changes in the game that it could never be boring and players are unlikely to get to a position where they have 'done it all'. This is really brilliant but Renzo an G&T at the same time - who ever thought of that one as sensible ?!

 

Back to back events is doing my MoJo in lol not getting enough time to even get my trees in the ground before i have to rip them out .... let alone progress in farm quests ..... then not getting enough time to have animals out on the ground to grow them and fill barn stock .... I;m on the edge of not even looking what rewards the events offer and take a time out and just FARM!!

 

Renzo's doesn't take me long, but I don't buy tickets. Events come along often enough I seem to run out of ingredients for feed but I'm trying to get bigger stockpiles of feed to overcome that. Trying to find a balance for the number of fields needed for special crops and not having some of the pens or workshops is also an issue, but I realized this time if I also stockpile critters I can still run at least most of my workshops.

Hey wait! BP is trying to make me get organized! Don't they realize guys don't know the meaning of that word (I only have a passing idea because my RL wife is always telling me to do it, so I looked the word up; still no idea...)
How dare they!! How will I annoy my beloved if I do that??

I used to be fairly organized, I have a house full of males who wouldn't organize if their lives depend on it. so not so much about organizing things now, more about what absolutely must be done. I did notice when i got things where they made sense and were easy to find it didn't last long, no one else here puts anything back where they found it. oh well now they get to search the same as me! lol

 

Wait! That sounds like my farm here! I drop some of my animals to grow more event crops and things get put back wherever afterward. If I have a dinosaur pen I would never know it...
I tried putting all my fruit trees in one farm, special ones in another, etc. I can not find Medlar, Loquats , or blackthorns to save my life. Everything gets harvested and those tree crops wind up in the barn but I learned during G&T that I have no idea where the trees are. If someone came to my farm a stole them I would never know...
I tried putting a yellow ribbons 'round my oak trees but when everyone else did the same thing it got even more confusing. I'm told you can tell the trees apart by their bark but mine are mute. I have so many disabilities: organizationally-challenged, tree bark deafness, can't remember where I put my trees. Yet I still have fun!
