I am part timing this contest and still managing to complete most of my objectives like the CR.

I'm down to 1 left! Thankfully, in less than an hour, I am certain to have it! I want to finish so I don't have to worry.

I just planted my last round of 5h crops. Finished the drops yesterday. Finished the 10h crops this morning. RL keeping me away from keyboard.

I wouldn't use SG to get drops until the last day or so. Sounds wasteful to me. If I did use SG it would only be on a crop of more than 12h, preferably w/ refinements, or maybe the 10h event crop. OR red roses with refinements. For more info on refinements look for Arrouquelas' thread. Don't forget to post a thank you in his thread after reading it.

24% is USUALLY a good enough trophy level IF you are managing your trophies. If things get too close on the last day or two... there are refinements and SG to fall back on.

I just plant a long crop w/ water and preferably refinements then... go to bed or find something fun to do when there is SO MUCH TIME left. But for a couple of years now my problem has usually been getting the crops done.

Thanks for well wishes. I'm OK. I was planning on resting between appts this week but... I'm going to be doing more lifting and moving while the weather is still cool enough, instead. AKA more back aches ahead... *sigh* lol

abudabi, life without movies... UGH! Try not to overdo it.

 

Only 12 more magnifiers and I will be finished. I'm sure to get those when I harvest my field of garlic I planted this morning in about 4 hours. Thank you to everyone who sent me a magnifier but I think I'm all set so please help out another player in need.

Done...fineto...finished. Woo Hoo!!!! Finally I can put out some animal pens and play with all the new stuff I got in the G&T.

 

Yesterday I finished needing 7 Magnifiers on Illy! Got them today and now I am tripping over them.
Insect Guides for sale, insect guides for sale! These were so plentiful ... think BP must have got a job lot.
Anyway, finished the event on both farms this morning and looking forward to some good old fashioned critter raising!

I wish they dropped as many magnifying glasses as they do insect guides. I have 170 something insect guides not being used and I need more than that with magnifying glasses. Why can't we turn certain drops, wait that would make it too easy.

 

finished quest a few hours ago.. I'm beat gonna do a few more thing on farm n hit the hay. only 1 day off this week.

 

I am almost done in this farm waiting for my last 25 magnifiers and the good thing is, this waiting time wouldn't be more than 40 minutes, because I have my longest crop(Rye) on my fields

I guess getting old now well not allow me to be able to over do it, a movie per day is fine unless there is something really interesting, anyway it is not the season, I don't think there is much good movies now, I was hoping to catch with the Avengers, the adds are still on. but I think when I reach there it would be gone, after 2 .5 years without movies, I think 3 movies in three days is fine, unless I got bored and there is nothing else to do, I have to look for a gift to my mom, Bahrain is famous for pearls, may be a ring, or an earring or both, other wise it is not the best place for shopping for other stuff.

I'm not sure farhana. May I suggest you to grow roses on your farm (1x1 plots) on all 3 fields. or you can grow your longest growing crops..Garlic/ hazelnuts or onions. Good Luck!

 

Yes, you can farhana....the event was 6 days long and we needed 800 magnifiers.

800/5 days of event lapsed = 160 average magnifier per day. With 25 hours to go, you should be able to get 133. Good luck!

 

Thanks for suggesting but which crop should I grow overnight? Rose or Garlic? Which one would give me better results (more drops)?

I think Garlic is better than Rose for better results on 1x1's.
However, when you used rose (with SG lover refinement + SG + Chestnut Cloud Row + SG efectiviness buffers) on CF, is better than Garlic.

It's up to you.. What is your choice?

 

Garlic should give the better results .... normally the higher EP giving plants give better results ,,,, i would personally plant your longest crop that will mature in time ....

 

the EP isn't the crucial part, the time is

 

well there ya go i thought it was the EP part .... didnt know it came down to the time it's supposed to take .....

 

Of course usually, the more EP, the longer it takes, but there are some exceptions. Roses for instance give more EP/hr than other crops, but doesn't give more drops per hour. Therefore the distinction
