I have 3 of the 5 workshops but in order to get the baker and the florist, they want me to buy them? Why can't I just build them as I did with the other 3??

I thought you'd only have to buy one as it says that once you have two opened to level 3 the 3rd trade is free.

That's right sewinglady and you can also win the 2nd one at Renzo's fair if you're lucky.

There are two types of Artisan buildings, the standard ones that you can access from level 40, and the spa and alchemist.

The spa and alchemist can both be opened via the tree of wisdom after you reach level 70.

For the other three: The first one can be opened for free, for the second you will either have to pay, or like Clashstrummer said, get it from Renzo's fair. When you have both of those at level three or higher you can open the third for free :)

The purchase of the second Artisan building is not expensive. (Please use the term Artisan building or craft building in order not to confuse these with "workshops" that use animal feed and animals to make items like wool, feathers, etc. :) )

You should read very carefully about the alchemist building before deciding to build it. Most farmers do not think it is worth the effort.
