The main and tropical fields are better for me on Chrome but Eidelweiss Valley is still very slow

 

Event has disappeared. Logged off and back on - still no event

 

For me it seems worse, sorry. Before there was lag in the game (and the spinning flowers) but if I waited it out then all would work again enough for me to do most of my fields before I got another lag. Now it just lags all the time. Took me forever to deliver to the Farmers' Society for season points this morning, kept lagging on every second delivery. I've decided to skip farming for today and come back tomorrow. I play on Microsoft Edge.

I will be disappointed if the Birthday event is cancelled as I have grown all my crops and milled all my presents ready to play but was waiting in hopes the game would be more stable this week. I know everyone is working hard on a solution so fingers crossed it comes soon.

I have not been able to play Edelweiss since the event. It is OK, but still not normal.
Other play fields not so bad, but nothing like we are used to.

I am using Chrome.

 

I have relogged 3 times. I had all the crops needed to finish milling for the event with just 2 puzzles left to complete and hope the mini game return as it was a lot of fun for me. I would just wait for the spinning to stop or go back to the fields to refresh and continue with the puzzle. The game works somewhat better now but still getting the spinning flower when changing fields and in edelweiss. Refreshing or relogging gets me back for a few minutes until it lags again. Pretty much the same as before the event was removed.

 

My Edelweiss Valley is still extremely laggy and sometimes won't come back around at all. Everything else is slower than usual but not making me have to log out and in. Really enjoyed the birthday game, hope it comes back around. Using the client.

 

After today's login (US Central time 1700), I noticed an improvement in actions on my farm.

Filling Season orders went more quickly as did planting/fertilizing/harvesting the different farms. I don't know if having MM running at the same time as the puzzle event added to the issues, but since both event and MM are closed, things are going faster for me.

I play on Chrome and as a general habit, check at least once a day for updates and clear cache several times a day.

If things in the game change tomorrow, I will update this post.

Update: Tuesday, US Central time 0912: CR harvests usual speed; giver fields have some lag; market offer area very slow in accepting my offer; playing field harvests ok, but cleaning /feeding/watering critters laggy and need several clicks to do these tasks; cannot see quest step needed item images in FS orders.

 

~edit~~You've disabled the event? - is this permanent or temporary? Those of us who spent money on baskets are not pleased about you removing the event. Either you need to give us the prizes for that event or you need to give us a refund of all money spent on it.

 

In Firefox it's better without the event. No more spinning flowers and can move quickly between fields. No problems in Edelweiss either.

 

I am in the USA it is 8:45pm and The Event and MM are no longer running! I am on a PC and using Microsoft Edge Browser and Windows 10. I am finding the game is running much faster and I can move from land to land quicker and harvest using my machinery
faster and smoother! I also find the Farm wheel is spinning better and less lag using the Market. When I harvest things like the CR and Lighthouse, the Park, ect. there is some lag and spinning flowers. I do not have Edelweiss open so can't comment there. I Hope this helps get the game running better for everyone and the people still playing the Party event can get to finish what they have started! Good luck!

 

9:00 p.m. in the US - playing on a macbook pro - tried in Firefox and Chrome - Firefox is somewhat better than before the event was disabled, Chrome is still very slow, spinning daisies, lots of lag time

 

Not playing EV at all, I found it very slow and laggy since it came in Farmerama. Can't harvest those fields where I have giver items without crashing and restarting the computer. Is there too much going on in this game, too much areas to play ect...?

 

harvesting was pretty good this morning on the client. Still more of the spinning daisy than usual but I got everything done in one attempt with no re-log-ins

 

I collected the last crop of the game. But the game was withdrawn. I completed the game and while I was about to complete the puzzle, the game retreated. I hope I get all the awards back especially the piccalo box

There is more slowdown in the Alpine Valley.

 

For me the lag is different since the events were all cancelled. I don't get the spinning flower as frequently, instead when I lag there is simply nothing, I do still need to relog. I had lag claiming daily log in reward, starting milling, and doing farmer society quests, the lag lasted for a shorter amount of time compared to before events were cancelled. Harvesting fields using the harvester has improved for me, not sure if that's just luck. I haven't tried most other actions because I am disappointed in the loss of the event and I doubt very much that the compensation would come close to returning everything that was lost.

I haven't tried AV , it's always slow and terrible and not enjoyable under normal circumstances. Too much extra re-zoning is required in AV to simply have the game realize that the warehouse is no longer full and allow me to continue harvesting trees. And that's normal, add in extra problems - no thank you lol.

Still way more lag and the spinning daisy of doom than before the event started, but slightly better since MM and event ended.

Also, for the past few months (maybe since the big harvest event?), on my higher-level farms, during the big daily harvest with cloud rows, pets, lighthouse, park, etc - the game becomes unresposive due to the main disk (win sysmain folder) pegged at 100%. You have to close the browser and wait for five or so minutes to resolve before proceeding with the game.

Lastly, I know you guys are busy with fixing this event, but at some point could you please do something for those players who originally registered via bigfish games? Those accounts are not able to log into the forumn or request tech support using that account - another farm created via bigpoint has to be used for these actions.

All went really well this morning. No lag and no spinning daisies. I have not got the Alpine valley thingy open so wonder if that causes problems. I have windows 11 and use Firefox. I never have the animations activated.

 

I could say there is a 30% improvement since the event was disabled. The daisies are still there but not as many and not for so long. Alpine Valley is also very slow. Overall the difference is nothing to write home about, sorry tech guys.

 

Yes, the game is marginally better (I agree with a 25-30% improvement) but still a lot of lag, especially in regards to Alpine activities. I blamed the event but it seems that there is something else going on.

 

Linux, firefox, Netherlands.
Constant lag, especially when trying to deliver orders for the season. Reasonable harvest abilities but I still have to regularly refresh to get unstuck.
It helps when I do one click and wait, but I'm used to fast clicking four orders in a row and then waiting for the "payouts". This does not work right now. It gets me stuck immediately.
