Petting Zoo

I have started a new farm (with a name similar to my other farm) and have been doing some of the FSQs.

I have reached Level 6 of Petting Zoo, have bought and placed my Sheep but I cannot start the timer, it is still greyed out. I have tried refreshing, logging out etc but still I cannot access this FSQ.

Any ideas what I need to do?

I did try to access the Forum via the new farm but before I could post my message, I was being asked for verification by typing in the "two" words in the above box. There was only ever one word or number in the box so I couldn't continue - despite being awarded a trophy of Forum Newbie!

 

Not a mod, but are you by chance trying to run both farms at the same time? If so, that might be part of your problem. Sounds like you tried all the "usual" -- log off, back on, clear cache, etc.?

 

I am running both farms at the same time but on different browsers. This causes no problem with this farm and my second farm ... I may try to open the new farm tomorrow without opening Farm No 2 and see what happens. I had managed to get to level 6 with no problem but it may be something like that. I will try. Thanks Woody for something else to try.

Edit: So I tried closing my other farm but that didn't work either.

 

Hello illy1996,

You do not have any other timed quest running do you?
With the forum, try logging out of each username before you log in with the next one to see if that helps solve the issue.

No I don't have any other timed quests open. I have logged in this morning without opening my other farms and still cannot start the time. I looked at another timed quest and can start that one. Petting Zoo seems to be blocked for some reason.

Hope you can help me with this problem.

Edit: I am still having problems with verification. I am now seeing two words, have entered them but still posting is an issue.

Further edit: I was doing the Restaurant and reached a point where I didn't have the relevant crop (tomatoes) so the Start was greyed out. I have now reached level 17 (and tomatoes) and the Start button has gone directly to green.

As I have reached the correct level for Sheep (and beyond as I am already raising Sheep and Pigs). There is a definitely a technical problem with my Petting Zoo.

 

You are above the level needed for sheep and plums. I will forward this to the Game Team to see if they can get to the bottom of the problem.

You may be experiencing problems seeing your other farm's posts as they were awaiting moderation The new spam filter works too well sometimes

Thank you Shooger, no need for further assistance. I will wait patiently for all to be sorted out.

Think you could do with a basket full of sweet treats, you are being run off your feet. You will find something that will fit the bill in the usual place.
