I agree BlackCaviar, that is exactly what I said to myself when I read the announcement

 

This is one of the worse event I have seen, the rewards are absolutely worthless, and the drops calculated so that no one can finish without buying several baskets. I will not buy a basket. This extremely disappointing and frustrating event is not going to incite player to continue participating.

 

And make no mistake that changing the rewards for the top 1000/3000 hasn't done anything to change my mind about this ill conceived event. You should have changed the drop rates and requirements instead if you wanted to redeem yourselves midway through.

worst event ever....i am not a player to comment any event ,but this one made me come here and say a word..give up already ,not spending a cent..i got ready for the top players and because of the drops i am not able to take a chance....

 

I don't like this event either, because of the reasons I stated in an earlier post here.
But leaving the game is not in my consideration at all.
One swallow makes no summer and in my opinion one terrible event doesn't make the game either. (I know, it is not the first event but in total I think, it all is not THAT bad)
We'll see how it goes and more important, if all the feedback will be taken by BP to change things for the future.

 

i respect your opinion...but its not the first time,its being so many times with the same problem...drops ...drops...and drops...i believe BP had time enough to fix that problem ....to do better calculations....being short a few drops is ok..but being short 600 i believe is pathetic,ridiculous...i harvest my fields to get the max 8 drops...and a few times in one fields i got 1 drop...i laugh...

 

just harvested a full field of yellow callas got 2 drops. . I'm at level 96 and it is the first time in 5 years I cannot finish. If I could not finish because of RL I would have accepted it, but because it is mandatory to spend money to succeed it is not acceptable. I have started to become bored with the game and that does not help.

 

I don't usually post here but must say as much as I love this game I don't love anything about this event. Prize aren't worth much and only getting drops from growing event crops is a bad idea. I am done with everything else but due to drop rate will probably not finish because I don't have enough silver paper to complete. In past when I could grow long overnight crops and had event crops done I got drops needed to finish. I don't have the option this time. Must grow 6 hour crop and harvest and grow and harvest. Very boring and since it doesn't look like I can finish very unhappy.

 

I will never even attempt an event again that gives drops only for event plants. I thought I would go for the cloud row, not realizing that finishing the blue room only gave a sticker, not the blue giver needed for the cloud row. Maybe instead of a difficulty level, BP should indicate how much real money will need to be spent to complete the event. This event is impossible to complete without spending money, and quite a bit. I think that was totally intentional. This was not how the game was when I started. Then it was spending money only if you wanted to buy conveniences and everything could still be done spending much TIME (and clicking) playing. I worked hard earning all the things that made events easier to complete, now they evidently were for naught.

By the way, I would rather have an empty cloud row than be forced to spend money to complete this event. Your tactics are boomeranging on you BP. When will you learn. Oh, maybe when you start listening to the feedback given to you instead of seemingly doing the opposite of what players are asking for.

i am also disappointed with this event. the drop rate is pathetic! and i have all the trophies and was moving 2 howies around each harvest. i am also retired and able to keep the unproductive growing time to a minimum, and i will still be about 200 drops short. i have no intention of buying baskets just to finish an event. it is not that i haven't spent money in the past, but if this becomes the norm for future events, i will be outta here!

 

I too have finally finished BUT level 98 with all trophies etc and I got up middle of night to plant a crops I didn't need, just for those drops... There was no way I was paying to finish a rubbish event. I pay for harvester, premium thingy that is now defunct and occasionally PF but not a chance for a lousy event..
Starting to feel like that experimental rat pushing buttons! Grrh

 

Im level 98 and have no chance to complete this quest. Drop rate is a joke. At least give us a chance...or are you mainly concerned with us buying silver dew to complete the event?

 

The drop rate was a complete joke!
I cant believe all that's been wasted, my time, my CAC, zucchini bread, Easter marms, Pinky Pies and machinery coupons,
all just wasted by a dismal drop rate. It's infuriating.

 

the drop rate should be fitting to the required event plants. Many players have 20000+ event crops and still not enough drops. That is really .
A full page of this nice little sheep is not even showing how upset I and many players are.
I am not going to finish and for sure not paying to finish.

 

Super disappointed in this event. Have been planting and harvesting on all fields almost 24/7 and won't be able to complete because of lack of drops. Angry too that I invested so much Super Grow to get to the last stage and now realize I won't be able to achieve the last stage of the quest. Really feel cheated.

Came back to edit and add that I reached the required crops for the Rainbow room and am still 70 silver papers shy of completing the event. This is the first time I was able to do the cloud row and would have been the first row I've completed. That's the only reason I spent nearly $20 to do this event. I know that's not a lot of money to some, but for me to spend that on a game is not the norm. Lesson learned though, I'll not be supporting this site with my cash for a long, long time. Call me now a frustrated gamer and a stingy one as well as I will not spend my money to support the site in the future.

 

I am at level 96 and will not finish. I have planted everyday but I refuse to get up in the middle of the night. So well I will have an empty cloud row. I pay for the harvester, but will not buy basket especially for such lousy rewards. This event was absolutely awful.

You did not let anyone down dutchboy, your opinion is the same as most.
This event has left us all feeling not so good, or down right bad.

I just re-read the three pages of feedback. Even those who finished had nothing positive to give as feedback. The graphics were colorful, but staring at the incomplete pictures on the wall only served as a downer...
