Pineapple Cake does not work

I started pineapple cake to boost Chronoflower harvest. Mouse over shows correct 7 crops for 2x2 field and 3 crops for 1x1 field, but when I harvest them, it only gives 5 crops for 2x2. I then checked by manual harvest. It first adds 7 crops, then subtracts 2 resulting in normal, not boosted harvest of 5. FAQ on the event doesn't mention that boosts will not work on event crops, so I guess it is a bug? Thanks for checking it.

Pineapple cake only effects Tropical crops, it does not effect Event crops. The 7 being displayed is a display glitch. We will pass this onto the Game Team.

Hi and thanks for your response. Two points:

First I'd naturally expect event crops grown exclusively on tropical lands to be included among tropical crops. Their exclusion is not clear from the description.

Second I'd suggest it's not a display glitch only as it first counts 7 crops in seed count after harvest. Or that would have to be a double display glitch - glitch on field and another glitch on seed count.

Event crops have their own category, so are not classified as "tropical" crops even if they can be planted on the tropical lands. Only Carrot bread and Carrot-apple chutney effect event crops.
