Pink cat kennel only gives 280ep??

Why does the PINK cat kennel give only 280ep?

The Pink Dog kennel gives 777ep; the Pink Mouse gives 392ep; a Pink horse gives 546; a red dog gives 473.2ep; and even the orange fox gives 448.5 ep!! There are lots of other oranges and reds that give much more than this Pink....
...so why are pinks so much more costly to build or buy?

Yes, ep's vary quite a bit, but shouldn't a PINK Cat be more comparable in ep to its difficult and expensive-to-build status?
Is this a mistake? Can you refer this to the game team for their thinking on this matter please?
