Really, BP? Really??? You tell us we get a deco item to help us with the event, isn't that swell of you. To be of any real use, tho, we have to have a minimum of 3 upgrades. We can only get 2 upgrades from this companion quest, none whatsoever from the main event. If we want enough upgrades to make it worthwhile to put out deco item, we must spend real money, for a WAY overpriced basket. What happened to this being a free to play game? It's become a premium player game, and I for one have about had enough. I've loved my farm for 7 years now, but if things do not change, and I mean for the better, and very very soon, I will be packing my implements and movin' on down the farm road.

 

How disgusting and greedy BP...only way to get the extra beach bar upgrades is to spend our hard earned cash.

Do you not read our feedback in the way you are treating us....we cant make it any clearer, treat your players with more respect instead of cash cows.

Its come to something when you have long established players wanting to leave. As its been said before the choice is yours and it looks like you are taking the wrong option.

So looks like another event Im not going to finish as one of the main items to achieve success is to spend my money, let me think about this its a NO

 

I think a lot of us would be prepared to spend a 'small' amount of money to finish an event as I did once (and only once) in the past, but to have to spend a huge amount just to get ahead at the beginning is not on. A badly thought out strategy.
If you are trying to get rid of players who do not spend any money you are going about it the right way. Trouble is that those of us who do spend some money on Harvester etc are also being penalised. I have already shut down three farms that I used to spend on, so your income stream just from me was decreased considerably.
It is good that the special event field is being used but the other goods needed to complete will not be available to an awful lot of players.
Once again, please think of your new players as well, they will become your loyal, and paying, customers of the future.

Agree with the above, as posted under the main event! BP just seems to keep on "upping" their mistakes toward customer satisfaction. As a result, I spend less and less real money and I care less and less about finishing events.

 

I agree with all of the above. I have stopped spending money also. I no longer care about events. My attitude is if I finish, I finish, if I don't, I don't care anymore. I'm a long time player too and I used to spend a ton of cash on this game but NO MORE!!!!

 

I am chiming in on all of the above. This poor little farm only gets played about 3x per week. I spend $0.00 on it due to the greed and the insane amount of events. It's a shame I can no longer deal with these events, so I just don't play that much anymore.

 

I refuse to buy a basket just to get the final upgrade for an giver item, we have been able to earn all of them in events before and now we can't. This is a terrible precedent.

I have decided no more money from me. I will stop my premium and harvester and go back to 2x2 farming. I plan on just do what comes easily in events. Not buy any more BB and stop buying all the new trees, new stables, cloud rows etc. I will quietly mess around with my farm until I just let it go back into the ether.

This reminds me of another one of your games that started coming out with all kinds of new things to buy before giving us a couple weeks notice that you were killing the game. Many spent lots of RL money on that game just to loose it all.

 

May I inquire what and when that was?

 

I've gotta agree with the members above, this game is becoming less of a relaxing activity that takes my mind off RL and more stress that I don't need. To find that in order to complete the event, I need to buy the basket, makes me less inclined to worry about finishing the event. I will continue to do what I can in the time allotted, but I'm not going to worry about it if I can't finish.

Ditto...I just don't enjoy these events anymore, I want easy going, easy to finish and just plain easy all around

 

A quest that gives only half the upgrades we need to be able to get anywhere with the main event - how patronising and greedy of you. Add to that the fact that the prizes aren’t even thst great and you have one despondent player.
