With back to back events and the high levels of requirements we have to attend to complete events, it would be nice to have some more resources to help us. Maybe have generic plant refinement that works for all event plants. Please note I'm not talking about the kind of refinement used during the last Easter event, it was hard enough to have crops to deliver, gambling amounts of it to try refinements while an event is running is not ideal.
The best would be to have refinements derived/created with regular plants that apply to all event plants. Or give folks an option to keep remaining event plants after an event is over so those can be used to produce such refinements.

I am trying to understand your idea, so you suggest a new refinement? Like super grow, or Suzy's super grow?

I think I got the first part.. Not to gamble with event plants... we get a generic plant (it can be called generic plant) to refine but this ideal would take away the event refinery crops.. So not sure this can be a go... unless BP does it with better refinements for event crops... and set up something that @RowSie was speaking of with lesser refinements.

it could work on the rare event field that we use. since they allow no buffs.... they can allow this refinement from the generic plant to work on any and all event crops on that field.

I do like this ideal alot... and I like it even more if BP gave us the lesser for that generic plant and still let us refine our event crop for a better refinement...

I am not in favour of this suggestion. I think it unevens the play field for players. Long time players have already an advantage. A lot of us have already a lot of refinements that we can use to boost our drop, can make our own cac, opened all fields, stock we can sell to buy other items to help us progress in donation events, larger manure pile, bigger watertank (spent star to open), trophies maxed out and traded into the rune.

If the demand is other crop, clearly this would cheapest and easier to do for long timers. Generic plant... That's just a name for a plant which we may or may not have.

My experience is that the ratio between growtime : event time is pretty much fixed. There's not a huge variety. It was pretty much the same as when I started to play on my old farm (before cac and all) as it is now. I say pretty much as there are subtle differences from event to event. Some actually being easy and others really time consuming. Cac shortens the time you need to spent to grow as you harvest more.

Now say you have an event crop that requires 8h grow time. and you need 7500 of it. Event last for 6 days. That is about 2,5 harvest per day without cac , with cac you can shorten this to 4 days. If we have a refinement that cuts this even more, what do you think BP will do ?

Events are to be time consuming and lure us into logging on ever so often. And the more play time it requires the more people will spend money (their choice and thank you for doing so, so others can play for free). The easier the event, the less revenue. I don't work for free, and I doubt the BP employers do either. I don't invest in companies that has a low pay-out to shareholders as I want a good interest on my money, why should bp owners ? . So there has to be some business aspect into this.

Another argument against this would be it makes the event less challenging. I realize this is the purpose with the suggestion, but if event doesn't challenge us wouldn't that remove some of the fun in doing them ? Events that are a breeze can be fun too, but too much, too often they will be just "done that, what's next?"

Please remember, I'm not saying it's a bad suggestion, just that I don't share the sentiment.
