Just finished the event ... and now milling all the things left over into water glasses to get the EP & CC....1 Glass of Water = 420 EP + 1015 CC.

I thank you Alexis, it got me just one more glass. Now waiting on a bunch of stuff coming up in the next 10-15 minutes, including some of the hazelnuts.

 

Finished on my big farm, baw815, not a shocker there. Need 64 more drops for my other farm, SadieBAW. I will definitely finish this event. I needed over 250 drops before morning harvest on SadieBAW and now only need 64. Overnight crops with loooooong times definitely help.

David, the poem is an inspiration in itself to even check the farm regularly. Thank you. I have no goal in mind for the farm just yet. We will see.

Thoughts of your post come to mind on and off for some reason. The following is what immediately struck me:

Finito! Two glasses of water left, one field of event crops to be harvested in an hour, which I'll mill for the extra CC. Think I'll save the stables and trees until have a few more of each before I put them out. Good luck to those still working at it, I'm pulling for you! Don't give up, the finish is in sight!

 

I won't lie that I've been trying to run in 50 directions at once around here. I've had to hold some things aside-- the Magic Stalk and until recently, Floristry.

So yes, now that I am probably already a bit over the mark on melons, I cannot afford to keep doing melons. I have to keep moving on FSQ's... triply so if I ever hope to attain the LL.

I am trying to focus in five main directions:
!. Moonlight Mania (when applicable)
2. Breeding (I've decided, only during Booms for now)
3. Animals and animal production (I have 5 egg farms, 2 angora sheds, cow and goat milk, and rodeo ranch... these are nice as they are easy to keep maintained)
4. Bahamarama based stuff
5. Events

I have to admit, I'm not keen on taking out EVERYTHING to do JUST one thing for a whole freaking week. That's fine if you're done with FSQ's, I'm not. I have 30 pages of them staring me in the face.

Maybe I'm on a raft, but it is growing and maybe somewhat stabilizing.

I am done with the event
I really enjoyed this one because it couldn't be done in hours or even a day.
The day before the event I finished a bunch of quests and spent a ton of money (couple million CC's)
in order to get 300 stars to get the LL rune and am I ever glad I did!! It was so nice to not move those trophy's from field to field.
And I got more drops than I ever have in any event ever.
For my stables I got 2 tortoises, hedgehog and a swan
For my trees I got XXL walnut, XXL olive, sea buckthorn, black willow, XXL rowan

Congrats to everyone who has finished~
To those still working on it. It can be done, don't give up
If not this event then the next one...There have been many events I didn't get to finish
but have faith you will get there And... there is always another event right around the corner lol

 

Sell your chickens in the market and buy the eggs you need. Same goes for cow and goat milk. I'd also put away any production pens for now. If you can, buy the products you need in the market for the production related FSQs or wait until later to do them. You can usually sell the three chickens and 1 chicken feed in the market for way more CCs than it will cost you to buy one egg. Plus you can use the space and time on your farm for something else.

Plus, you will want to save up your horses for the Neon event coming probably next month (read the Grapevine thread).

I honestly didn't expect to finish the entire thing. I was just trying to get the CR and figured everything else was a bonus. I planted too many melons because I wasn't really keeping track of how many I had, but at least they give good EPs.
Congratulations everyone who is finished and good luck to everyone still working on it.
CylentLea is right. Do what you can do and there will be another event before you know it.

I think you are doing well with the event given what you have, very well. With your raft floating on this event then the next storm (event) comes with the next event and the one after that and the one after that and the one after that and the one after that and the one after that ........ it's endless

Florist too! I just unlocked the florest yesterday and it is the 4th trade for me. Who knows how long I will be an apprentice. lol I may always be. Great to have the florist in common with you.

Can you see obtaining the LL rune will make the event easier among other things?
Maybe you see you need trophies to contribute to the LL rung.
And you need the trophies upgraded.
And you need the items to contribute to get them.
And farmer's society quest are used.
There are efficient items to donate.
The most efficient items to donate you cannot see because of your level so no producing and no buying efficiently
The steps completed in the trophies do give you stars to get to the LL rung and then .....
And some stars are cheaper tha

Okay, let's forget about the Pin the Tale on the Donkey game. Hire me to build you a house. I'll get it done. If you allow me to follow the steps you'll get a decent place. Or, we can build you a house without a roof and you can move in quickly. Whatever you want. You are building your house. Whatever makes you happy.

And one more thing ....... do you have any CCs, I might want to get a loan especially from you.

Words of comfort: Your raft won't sink or break apart. The game is not designed for that to happen.

Now I'm convinced: I have little concern with you and your farm's ability to journey through an event .... But I do see a little solveable challenge with the ability of your raft to make it to the event.

Come on will ya, you have a lot of sense and drive. It's that raft ............ lol Have fun.

And how about a refinement or two, and shipwreck bay, and breeding, and a high level crop or two, and a spa, and maybe a farm spouse (that poor soul now) and a moose and an elephant and a donkey and a dog and a cat and .......... this does not end .....there is a beginnning ----> the raft. You can do whatever you choose. ........ but it's that raft ....

Hmmmm, I do sell chickens in the MP. Honestly. Other animals too. I have a small CC hoard, yes. About 200k CC. I can buy occasional "emergency" feed purchases, that sort of thing. However, I try always to fund my FS quests from my own efforts. Doesn't feel honest, otherwise. I've broken that rule once, and I never will again.

Events aren't easy, but the rewards are pretty good. I have 7 new trees, 2? 3? new stables, etc. I am getting somewhere. Please know that I AM doing the trophy drag, etc etc etc. I am making some progress. I will finish tonight at 105 tasks done, and that is a little farther than I had hoped a couple days ago. I might make 120.

I think I'm going to take the Garden Expo quest and shove it in the interim between these two quests. I'm going to focus on animal feed on Tuesday, and just catching up. I should make enough Baha XP to fund the bananas to open Dragonfruit next. Then I'll figure out Chili.
It's doable. Not easy, doable.

At least here I don't have mice eating tomato seedlings or jackrabbits girdling my fruit trees or an incessant wind blowing at my plots.

 

my stables turned into: kingfisher, platypus, wolf and orange goat
the trees were: 2 black willow, XXL orange, XXL pine and XXL almond

 

Still need 152 drops and 1950 melons for the glass of water. However I have 1300 melons in barn so no problems. But drops are another matter. It did slow down since the beginning of the events. when you get 1 straw for 34 trees, and 18 straws for a field of broccoli , it is getting difficult to get enough straws.

The farm completed two steps on the right-hand side, the apples and of course the carrots.

I have a grand total of 23 drops and 10 seeds to cash in and level 8 now.

Rays of hope, everyone--

I had a TON of drops this morning, enough to mill 17 glasses of water!! That's the most in one round of harvesting that I've done ever. WOW. Ten tasks completed from those glasses. I'm now 5 tasks from the CR and it is in sight (even if I don't get it until I get the Magic Stalk, obviously), Let's hope the drop rate is on MEGA-HIGH all day for all of us who still need straws!

 

Drops have slowed down considerably for me, so I am waaaaaaaaaaaaay off completing, especially as I am now harvesting by hand and not machinery, 4 straws hand harvested, compared to 16 when using machinery! ( have now used all of my coupons for machinery, and have been searching through the quests to gain more, but not having much luck!)
Roses have been the best overnight crop for me.
If anyone could possibly send over some straws, they will be gratefully received!

 

I just finished all 150 tasks!! I use 77 1x1's on rainforest as well as trees and 2 stables, Baha has 101 1x1's about 12 pens/stables and some trees. Main farm I use 49 1x1's leave trees and pens up, the Green Meadow I use 46 1x1's and the rest trees and stables and the Magical Glade I only used 20 1x1's. I have the most pens there as it is free water! As you can see I pretty much leave my lands in tact and just do what I need to do to get enough event crops! I hope this helps some farmers. I must say it is NOT the fast road to the finish BUT I have finished in plenty of time. Drops were slow but steady with the trees and pens I was able to leave out, as I did not have any room for long over night crops!
