Donations needed for givers + CR:
12 * Snow Cone
12 * Frozen Fruit
14 * Slushie

These can only be made by milling ingredients. 5 minutes mill time each.

Total requirements for donations:

12084 Event Crop (3540 + 5700 + 2884)
1106 Sugar Cone (924 + 182) - drop from crops, trees, pens, workshops
494 Drinking Straw (396 + 98 ) - drop from trees, pens, workshops

Requirement breakdown per day:

Event Crop
12084/5days = 2417 per day
With CAC applied 2417/3 = 806 plots per day = 2 fields (main and meadow) with 1x1 plots harvested 2 times a day

Drops
1106 Sugar Cone = 222 per day from crops, trees, pens, workshops
494 Drinking Straw = 99 per day from trees, pens, workshops only (glade)
Note: these are the numbers without counting in drops gained from the initial harvest!

Event crop grow times:
7:00 hrs = 420 minutes
with water = 336 minutes = 5:36 hrs
with water and manure = 302.4 minutes = 5:03 hrs

Thank you Habalala for the figures. I'm not sure if I can manage this one but my plan is to plant the event crop, see how the drops go and play it by ear! (Nothing new there then!)

I may be able to manage three harvests a day - I can only try! I think we will need those broths for the axe throwing viking lady!

Edit: Habalala - is there any reason why have you got glade in brackets for drinking straws? Have I missed something - it's always a possibility!

 

To have enough 1x1 plots for the crops my advise is to use main and meadow for crop growing (404 plots in total * 2 harvests = 808 plots). This leaves only the glade available for pens and workshops -and some trees on the edges- to gain the Drinking Straw drops

Guess it won't be easy to get 99 Drinking Straws per day from just 1 field. Depending on all drop rates it may be wise to have overnight pens and workshops on main and/or meadow instead of event crops or long timed crops. Event crop "only" needs 2 harvests, approx 10 hrs, per day.

This is what I intent to do but there are more possible options (like growing all event crop on all fields first, prior to the hunt for Drinking Straws) so don't take my strategy for granted success!

 

Sorry, I missed that this was your strategy and not a FAQ! That'll teach me for skimming ... though probably not! I will be following this strategy as I rarely move my Glade stuff!

While gathering data and composing the inital post I always make up my own strategy and forget to keep the initial post very basic..

Thank you habalala for getting this Polar Party started.
I decided to put pens and workshops (with trees on the edge) of main and green meadow. I left magic glade full of trees.
Hope to get a good start on straws. Good luck everyone, with this marathon of events!!

I will do this event, But the interest for this event is spoil when I saw
the viking event FAQ.
Force players to do a event if you want to do another event.

 

Inital harvest got 217 sugar cone and 76 drinking straw.
Not read FAQ carefully. Just found out .
NO Drop could be gift to neighbor

 

Initial harvest
291 drinking straws
134 sugar cone

main field : trees only
meadow: mix of chicken and rabbits and half the field full with trees
magical glade: trees only

I am impressed!!

 

242 cones, 74 draws.
look like I may need to take out some trees in furute.
But that will be wait till I grow enough event crops.

 

Nice haul clonahmon. I thought about 2 fields of trees, but went with first 2 pens and trees and MG all trees.

Faq states: Drinking Straws from 3 Mainlands from trees, animals and workshops.
I have received Straws from more than glade

 

My setup of leaving two fields (main and magical glade) full with trees paid off completely.
I had all drinking straws I need with my morning harvest and switched now to only fields for the event plants.

I am finding it difficult to get the conesMy strategy is to take a deep breath and walk away!!

 

I don't know, if somebody had seen that already, but when playing the polar bear, sometimes 2 green plus signs come up, so you can choose, which one you want to do next.
This way I got the cloud row already. Ok givers still missing, but I have the CR YEAH.
I did the steps the following way:
Step 1+2
Step 7 (went green below the starting one)
step 3 + 4
Step 8 (in the water, where the polar bear has his paw in the water.), giving you the CR

4 more steps to go with 7 snow cones, 5 frosty fruit and zero slushy to mill.

Doesn't look to bad though.
Will put some long term plants on one field overnight to get some of the cones.
