So glad for all you that goes well, and for those doing breathing exercises whilst walking

I did the epic failure of putting on the cac from the boost menu, but there I can't add more than one, so it ran out. And I haven't noticed... so behind on crop. Oh well, What will be will be. Keeping paws crossed and eyes on the breathing-group therapy

 

Oh my, Moraine, been there and done that! Still, if you can get two or three harvests per day, you should be able to catch up. I'm done with crops (I hope), I've milled all but two frosty cones and I only need 100 Sugar Cones to finish.

My planting and harvesting for this event have been, to say the least, chaotic - five harvests one day(with the help of friend SG), one or two another and, because I thought I didn't need any more crops (my maths again), I had two fields full of trees last night just for the fun of it (and because my tree stocks needed a little boost). So I am sure you will recoup for your faux pas!

Event done and dusted, CR up and running, as I got my last needed cones around lunchtime. Had milled all slushy and frosty thingies already, so only waiting for sugar conwes to drop. Nighttime rye and barley did the job.

Ain't that the truth!
Finished this event this morning and now concentrating on building up Anaconda stocks and, of course, Chicks and Bunnies.
Popped a few Pandas and Camels in the Motels in the hope that I get lucky and get all the necessary skips to finish at least one level of that elusive Castles in the Sand.

 

I don't think im going to be able to finish this event I did finish the breeding event though I wish they would allow us to get any broths that we missed in this event in the birthday event

 

One last harvest and I should finish. With my late start I've been running the tractor hard to get this one done!

 

Well done on those who have finished this event, im totally jealous Im not even half way through drops were pathetic.
I followed the advice of those who know how to stratergise but Ive not been succesful even up to to 3 full fields of pens and workshops but only getting 15 straws from each one

 

I didn't finish. Not enough straws. I had a lot of trees and pens out, also. Just low drops I guess.

 

I say this with the greatest affection for my fellow players - I have 220 straws leftover and for one of few times in history, I was unable to farm for two big twelve hour days. So for those who are struggling with drops, I think I speak for all of us when we say, let us help you how to figure out what's not working for you. I know for me, the night before the event started, and the two first nights during the event, I put out 18 hour pens, with a Valentine's pot, feed and water which brought it down to under twelve hours. The other nights I was growing crops, to make up for the time that I missed, or long crops, because I was short on THAT drop. I always have my fields set up with trees in the spaces that don't get filled by 2x2. This way I can easily move between 2x2 for the first sets of seeds, and then back to 1x1. The first night I had trees in one field, but after that, all I had was what's around my edges. And as I said, this time around, I did not always harvest exactly promptly, so the only harvest of trees I was getting was first thing in the morning, every day. It's not just a question of having trees and pens out, it's having the ones that will most closely fit with your ability to harvest. If you're going to be gone what amounts to twelve hours during a work day, then the pens you want to set out should be longer than twelve hours, so that none are sitting idle. For a long time, I tried to sculpt my life to fit my harvests, as much as possible. Lately, I work more at fitting my harvests around what I know will be my schedule. I can't remember the last time that I didn't finish an event due to drops, and I have NEVER bought a single drop or basket on this farm. I do buy other things. I hope there is something in the above, that helps one person happy farming to all!

 

I didn't finish the event. Missed the event by few minutes. I committed several faux pas in this event. All very silly mistakes and those that cannot be rectified. So I am taking inspiration from Moraine's above words. If not this, there's always the next event.

I did not finish event i did not have enough straws to do the last two levels but I did do level with the cloud row earlier this week

 

I do not have the Party Game EP Giver. Is it possible to get it in the G&T ? That is, will anyone have the EP Giver & not the cloud row.

 

@12ss12 I, too, missed Party Games giver. Sigh. Hope to get it in the coming G&T. Fingers crossed. I was able to get the CR and the other givers, though.
