Can someone please explain to me how I'm supposed to finish this event when I get three whole drinking straws from an entire main field of 1x1s with the event plant? Seven hours of waiting for 6 drops. This is abysmal. Do you not want the game to be fun or something? Do you dislike the players?

I try really hard not to post unless I can say something positive, but I have to concur with the above - the drop rate for straws is HORRID. Setting the algorithm so that players HAVE to plant non-event crops in the overnights in order to get enough drops is just mean. For anyone who has a job, or a life, for that matter, that means ONE harvest per day, if long crops have to go in overnight. Events don't have to be easy - but they should be doable and fun - or they should be labeled "expert level only". I've been playing for ten years, have pretty much every available bonus out there, but working ten hour days and no way to farm on my phone - I'll finish, but many won't, because of stinginess.

Of course there is breeding without BB day to get drops. Not appealing.

I hate having to tear up the glade. If you didn't have stupid daily quests that wouldn't be necessary. Too many different drops and mill products also make this event annoying. You were doing better, BP, but this set of events is a step backward in my opinion.

Thanks to the lovely generosity of other players, I finished this event - which I really wanted to do as the prizes offered were fantastic. On that front, this was a wonderful event and I thank you for it.

But it shouldn't be this challenging to take part. I realise that it can't just be a walk in the park, I do. I realise that you want to entice people to buy the baskets and the BBs.

But it doesn't make any sense to push your players away. I've said this every year so I don't expect you to start listening now, but I'll say it again anyway. If you market the game as free, it has to be free. Not free to a point, not free for the basics, but completely and utterly free. That means we should be able to take part in the event fully without spending a dime of our own money. If you don't want the game to be that - fine! But market it accordingly. Make it clear that gameplay is free up to a point and that payment is required for full participation.

People are more willing to part with their money when they feel invested in the company they're giving their money to. That's just basic human psychology. You can force us into spending our money on your game by making it impossible for us to finish events without doing so, sure. And you might get some begrudging basket sales that way. But you know what would encourage regular renewals of memberships? Regular purchases of BBs, baskets, harvest helper subscriptions and so on? Making your players feel like you value them. I think it's very telling that I have been playing this game for 11 and a bit years and have not once spent a cent of my own money on it. It's not because I don't have the money to spend. It's because, much as I love Farmerama, I loathe BP. Time and time again you have proven that you have no compassion, no generosity, no consideration for your players. You don't care whether we're happy or not. You spend your time working on insignificant IT issues whilst the problems with the new platform that we've been shouting about for over a year go ignored. You make events impossible and try to force us into spending money. You don't take our feedback on board and you make events so difficult we can no longer simply enjoy them. For crying out loud, you make baby boom events so short some of your players literally sleep through them. I'm in Australia and on so many occasions there have been 6, 8, 10, 12 hour Baby Boom events that literally run from the time I go to sleep to the time I wake up - or sometimes end even earlier.

You'd make a lot more money if you focused on making your players happy. This was a great event for the prizes but I finished it in spite of you, not because of you. I finished it because your players show a level of generosity you yourself cannot show to the people you want money from.
