I still need 102 shoes!!! All the rest is done. But my shoes drops are awful. I have too much cloth. I have trophies at 28%, and have bee putting long duration crops, and many trees. But trees do not give much. I get more drops with crop.

 

I have the same issue here Frenchmom14261. I am always short on those pesky hiking boots. And long term crops? Meh...at best. Started wondering if I should start looking for an SOS thread to request help. At least I would not be the only one posting there.

 

I don't remember what stables I got for 1st 2 , but of the 3 planted today I got a mouse, stork, and drumroll please... kingfisher! really happy with that one! trees i got xxl moringa, xxl starfruit, xl mango and xl mandarin.

Finally got my shoes. For the trees I got 2 great one Achacha and Baobab. then XXL guava, Tamarind,XL pistachio, Moringa and jacote.
Didn't planted the stables yet as I wanted to get my shoes first.

 

From the trees I got one achacha (yeah!), the rest was mostly XLs

But the stables gave great results for once! Kingfisher platypus 2 kiwis (my first lol), a red duck and some more rares. The only useless things I got were two yellow workshops. Very happy indeed

I just got 41 shoes from 44 2x2s of Iris and completed the event!
My best mystery items were a Red rabbit, Platypus, Baobab and XXL Papaya. My worst, 2 XL Brazil nut and an Orange goat dairy. Thankfully no Yellows. Sadly, no Pink.

 

Even with the foolish farming, this farm completed all of the event. It grew or produced all the animals and nearly all the crops.

All I remember about the trashy trees and stables is there was the rat house of course.

I'm done but for about 30 hiking shoes but I should have them soon. I got some excellent, OK and bad stables. I did much better with the trees though.

Trees: Amherstia, Baobob, Achacha, 2 XXL persimmon, XXL fig, 2 XXL pistachio, XXL dragon fruit, XXL coconut, XL Royal poinciana, XL carob

I've been really busy in RL so haven't been keeping up, hope everyone did well and got good stuff!

 

The only good animal was the platypus. I got frogs, mouse, racoon, rooster, hedgehog (2), stork nest, tortoise, orange truffle farms and yellow paint factory and yellow duck.

 

At last finished the event. Put out my mystery trees & stables. Waiting for a Kingfisher & Achacha.

@Frenchmom14261 What ! Tortoise is not an good animal for you ? If you have said this yesterday, I would have asked you to send it to me.

When someone says I did foolish farming, you should know that he/she is safe enough to do foolish farming.
Put the rat in the cheese factory and enter in your diary that you have done a good deed today.

 

For my last 6 pens I got: 2 tortoise, 2 ostriches, 1 more mouse for the cheese factory, and 1 orange rabbit hut.

I too am having a hard time getting shoes. I've got more than enough polish cloths to finish up, but I still need 67 more shoes. If tomorrow goes like today Ii should be able to finish everything. Congratulations to all of you who are done and good luck to everyone else.

If you have time maybe you could drop by the SOS thread and help out some of our fellow farmers who are struggling. Just a thought.

While fooling with mud_pie_man, I decided to do the entire event here too. Did most things opposite of what was efficient. Absolutely no advance preparation for drops and grew some short time crops. Even had to produce chickens and goats after going on a selling fiasco. You know it, got the infamous rat house here too. Trees are already at the station waiting on the next train to nowhere.

Buying tree fruit on a percentage of EV paid off again. Selling in lots of 400 whenever I think about it. Method would not allow me to pay anymore than 29 for cherry.

No need for xxl or xxl trees or turbo poop. No way the twice a day tree work ........ need a broke tree .... only need to harvest once a week.

Congratulations everyone, this has been a real easy event.

Market has been showing signs of mass elephant production. If right, one may wish to get a little cheap elephant feed. Mills have not been able to keep up with demand for elephant feed with the ability to produce on the rainforest also.

 

I finished the event on this farm this morning and Chevrefeuille only needs 18 shoes which I will get by the end of the day. I liked this event. Being able to do the crops so quickly meant I could stock up on some crops, which is unusual for me - my farm is usually full of animals - and get the necessary drops at the same time. Very enjoyable, no stress and nice prizes!

My secret animals and trees were, however, a complete washout. Only thing worth mentioning were Platypus (2 on this farm, one on the other). I now have a small shoal on both farms!

I finished the event! I got all the items and the CR only by logging in once a day! Interestingly I had no problem with any of the drops
But... I have left with only 30 goats and I don't want to place the mermaid in the cloud row but I will for at least now.

 

YAY, I'm done! Now why did I get three Kiwis when I'm nowhere near being able to produce the feed for them? I could also have lived without the orange goat dairy. Nothing else of note except a Platypus. Arielh, I too am madly working on re-building my goat stock!
