Preferred gift choice from neighbors

Hello,

Would it be possible to add a notice advising which gift your neighbor prefers?

Perhaps simple wording, could be added below the neighbors name.
Then as you scroll down the neighbor list, it would state that neighbors gift choice.

Possibly like this:





or perhaps a mini drop item/picture can be added instead of the wording.


The gift screen can be updated to include boxes for players to choose which gift best suits them.

Maybe reserving a little corner in the personalized sigil. That way I could include my preferences by choosing for example the little toolbox or sugar to be integrated into the sigil itself. And that would be easy to be changed by the player himself according to his present preferences. And that way it is easy to be seen whenever someone looks at a neighbors sigil.

I too want an easy way to see the neighbors gift preference!! Any way would be good.

 

Good idea, except I think everyone wants event items as long as they are participating. Its more an issue to know what other items people want.. or when someone is finished with event.

 

Sorry, no caffeine yet today but are you suggesting the ability for you to add the neighbor's choice or for each farmer to select their own choice that would show up automatically in their neighbor farm crest info? I keep a list because I do have neighbors who are high enough levels that do not need event drops and some neighbors who do have event and nonevent preferences. It would be nice for each farmer to be able to update their own preference as their needs/wants change.

And I prefer Toolboxes, just in case...

 

It would be nice to be able to see what everyone prefers....I do not keep a list; so I am sure sometimes my neighbors are frustrated with me. I send everyone event items regardless of their level...it can always be turned into CC's at the end of the event.

I like the idea, but I think jennifersiegel's idea is the best. Then the person can change it themselves as their needs or preferences change.

Personally it doesn't matter to me how our programmer's, tech's or developers accomplish it.
I just think it would be a welcome addition.

Nice to know many of us are like- minded.
I found myself thinking more about this after the Dress To Thrill event. It was hard to figure out who needed Spider Silk vs. Glittershrooms without sending an igm (igm= In game message) or heading to the forum to check the SOS thread (which is awesome & will always be needed).

 

And since many people are not English speakers, this might be an easier way to find out what folks want.
