    Hi...... How come I can't sell my Tortise above 507.00 (approx) whereas all new Rare Stable Animals sell above 50,000.00

    To begin with, the market index is set to be the exchange value of the item. The market index changes based on the price the items are sold for. The market fairy rune lets you list items at a price 75% higher than the market index (without the rune it is 50%).

    If you want to sell at a higher price, the only thing to do is to wait until the market index increases.

    Hi sudhir

    The market is based on supply & demand, when the demand outstrips the supply and people list things for higher prices, then the price slowly starts rising. When demand is low the prices start to fall due to a glut of available goods.
    But as -Mir85- has pointed out, it starts at exchange value. Until people start selling tortoises the price will not change.
