Purchased pigsty missing

I was told to open my own thread, when i posted this in another thread, as that chap had teh same issue.
"I bought a pigsty yesterday to go in my newly opened magic glad section (after I harvested the event plants today) and when I went to plop it in the meadow, I found it was missing! And, as with you, I can see the money has definitely been taken from my total.
Any chance the techies will actually read this and post?
(also, just an aside question: I won a couple of "decoration items in a quest, and after all the hard work i find that is all they are! They don't DO anything! What is the point of such flotsam?)"

Thank you very much for opening a new thread - we stick to one issue per thread because even the most similar issues can be very different (and this is one of those cases), and we want to give the best attention to every case and player in particular.

I have checked your logs and you have indeed bought a Pigsty, but not a basic one - a Yellow upgrade:
2015-03-19 03:43:31 CET shop - Pigsty I: Yellow, 1.00, -7600.00 CC

The Pigsty is in your inventory, you will find it under the Upgrades (you have 2 at the moment), but you cannot place it on the land directly - it needs to be placed on top of a basic Pigsty.

As for the decorations, there are not too many of them. One of the decorations that does nothing is the Buddha statue from the Restaurant quest - back in the good old days, when the game was new and there were no items, players enjoyed having decorative items in their Parks, to make it pretty Nowadays, there is no room left even for great EP givers.

Sorry; you are wrong; the yellow pigsty was a reward for completing a quest. Which is why I went ahead (after much deliberation) and purchased said basic one. And it took the coins, but delivered no sty.

I am really sorry, but that is what the logs show, and they appear to be correct since everything else matches - the pigsty purchased is also a yellow one, the price and logs are correct and also correspond to the item from your inventory. It took the 7600 CCs - and delivered the yellow upgrade.

If you wish to get a different opinion, you are welcomed to contact our Customer Care Team - I can only tell you what the logs say.

Might I suggest, as an "upgrade" to the program, that when a sale is made in the future, the "shop" gives a receipt? Then we would have something to show you - as what the system is showing is incorrect (since the whole purchase didn't go through, it follows that the system did not record it. Just took the coins)

 

In your log (green arrow, bottom center of your game screen) it does not only show you gifts and drops, but also items purchased from the shop.....not really a receipt as you are suggesting, but maybe a convenient tool to confirm for yourself if the purchase was registered.
I had items purchased, CC deducted, no purchased item in the inventory, then after my local game synched again with the server the CC were back in my account....as with the pets the lag due to connection/browser/whatever issues can cause some irritation or confusion....

 

That does not help - I know I bought the item; the fact is I can provide no proof to the people behind this "system"

 

I don't see how a receipt would change anything. It would still say something to the effect of:
2015-03-19 03:43:31 CET shop - Pigsty I: Yellow, 1.00, -7600.00 CC

teddy said you have 2 yellow pigsty upgrades in your inventory at the moment. Assuming these were both recently acquired, the first one was a reward for completing a quest and the second one was purchased from the shop. It's the only explanation that makes sense.

What you can do in the future is:
1) take a screenshot of the shop window (with your mouse pointing to the item you are about to buy) and your CC balance just before making the purchase
2) make the purchase
3) take a screenshot of your action log and CC balance right after the purchase is made

That should give you enough proof to back up your claims if you ever find yourself disagreeing with what's shown in your logs.

Thank you for your suggestion, Chris_2_4 As previously advised, you are welcomed to contact Support for this matter, and there is no reason for which the upgrade cannot be replaced with a basic stable - but you are losing the extra CCs paid . Eventually, a refund could be considered as well.
