Awesome finds silim, I'll grant you an extra 0.5 pts for these as they are not matching the request "by adding up" in full. But still cool :)
Your first answer is the very correct solution (earns you 1 pts), for more correct solutions do check the notation sequence :D

    Totally 125 eights. 125 X8 =1000

    *************************************************
    Another method
    88+88+88+88+88+88+88+88+88+88+88+8+8+8+8= 1000

    that is 11 x 88's and 4 x 8s is equal to 1000

So creative 12ss12! Good fun, isn't?

But then again adding up 125 or 26 eights ≠ adding up eight 8. Silim already gave the correct answer, may I suggest to hussle his numbers a bit? Maybe the outcome is 8+8+8+88+888 = 1000 or something like it? Different math, same outcome …

Edit: I'll post Game 3 on june 15, at around 8 pm (CEST +2)

    Game 3

Two tasks to find an answer on, both need to be correct in one post.

    1)
    How often is there a 9 in the range 1 - 100

    2)
    You are given the numbers: 4, 5, 11, 73, 204
and you are given the following math marks: *, +, +, /
and you are given the outcome: 349

Solve the puzzle, make a correct math by using all you've been given once.

    Solution to Game 2

    888 + 88 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 1000

    >any combo will do, so there were many options to earn 0.5 pts<
    a few example math:
    88 + 888 + 8 + 8 +8
    8 + 888 + 8 + 88 + 8
    8 + 8 + 88 + 888 + 8
    etc.

    -Mir85- 1.5 pts
    silim 1.5 pts
12ss12 0.5 pts (for being creative with 8s!)

  6. There are 19 numbers that contain 9 at least once in the range of 1-100.
Of course 99 contains 9 twice, so the counts of 9 are 20.

    Game #4

    Find me!

A number multiplied by 2, minus 1, and the outcome read in reversed order gives the same number.

Give 2 solutions. 3 or more solutions earns you an extra 0.5 point.

    Solution to Game #3

    1)
    There's a total of twenty 9 in the range 1 - 100

    2)
    ((204 + 73) * 5 + 11)) / 4 = 349

    204+73 = 277 > (73+204 is fine too)
    277*5 = 1385
    1385+11 = 1396
    1396/4 = 349

    37*2-1=73
    mirror of 73 is 37

    edit ..found another
    397*2-1= 793

    37*2-1 = 73
    397*2-1 = 793
    3997*2-1 = 7993
    39997*2-1 = 79993
    399997*2-1 = 799993
    3999997*2-1 = 7999993
    39999997*2-1 = 79999993
    399999997*2-1 = 799999993
    3999999997*2-1 = 7999999993

It's pretty neat :) At first glance the first solution looks like it doesn't fit a pattern, but if we check the difference between two consecutive solutions we find another pattern, and it fits right in:

    1 + 36 = 37
    37 + 360 = 397
    397 + 3600 = 3997
    3997 + 36000 = 39997
    39997 + 360000 = 399997
    399997 + 3600000 = 3999997

Wow, while I thought this one would take a day or two to solve, pnp found and posted the answer within 30 minutes. WTG, well done!!

    Solution to Game #5

Each line (except the first) says how often a certain number in order occurs in the line above:

    1 = one
1 1 = one one -in first line-
    2 1 = two one -in 2nd line-
    1 2 1 1 = one two, one one -in 3rd line-
    1 1 1 2 2 1 = one one, one two, two one -in 4th line-
    3 1 2 2 1 1 = three one, two two, one one -in 5th line-

    Next is: one three, one one, two two, two one : 1 3 1 1 2 2 2 1
    and so on :)
