Great question Lea:DI am curious also. I have been making loads of tomato chutney...but the meter hardly moves:cry:How much does one have to make....really????o_O
GuineaUp told me to grow TONS of onions and hazelenuts, AND make TONS of tomato base chutney in preparation for CAC production!!!

All artisan shops have the feature of using 5 products a day to level up. Look in your market and compare the price to their respective trade points to see which one is most cost effective. It will help you level up faster than just making products. Good luck!

    Sweet answers.
Also go to the tree of eats stars.....-.- in there is a rune that will give you more points for your artisan usage/making. Great gray matter long ago aided me.
I did the whole level 3 on making tomato chutney growing the crops that I also was doing the refinements..... yeah, glad those I must do it all days are over...o_O Good-luck you will feel so much lighter as you get it done.8)

Lavender Jam and Traditional Chutney is the answer to your question CylentLea :)

Lavender Jam gives you 125 points (as oppose to 100 for other level 1 recipes) also start milling the Level 3 base product "Traditional Chutney" 24/7 as this is the base product for CAC (= you can never have enough!)

Also make sure, as PnP already suggested :inlove: , to "eat" 5 products each and every day to help level up! Compare prices and trade points and find your best option but always make sure you do "eat" 5 a day, each and every day!!

    Best of luck!

Edit: Traditional Chutney of course, not jam. Thanks GuineaUp!

Traditional Chutney is the basic product for level 3 and is what's needed for making CAC... and don't forget that you have to purchase the CAC recipe:sleepy:. Luckily I was able to get mine during a half off shop sale;).

To level up as fast as I could I bought and ate/consumed tons of Lavender Jam and Eggnog (a total of 5 products each day), tho both were much cheaper just a few months back than they are now. If I couldn't afford to buy my 5 yummies a day then I'd just eat something/anything confectionery that I had in stock that I didn't think I'd really need (or sell something worth more and buy the Lav Jam or Nog). Seemed to take forever tho!

Here's the list of confectionery products showing the points they give...

 you must eat Lea. If you sell Tomato chutney and buy lavender jam you make a profit at least in my market, but doesn't always sell fast. Pink Jelly was very low last breeding event, not worth to sell to buy higher xp goods at all.

Could I just piggy-back on this, please, and ask if one of you kind people could tell me the amount of BBs needed to buy the CAC recipe?
I've been saving them in anticipation for a while now :wuerg:, those recipes are expensive even with a discount!!!

@Mishamala I think it's 199BBs... but seems to me it is usually only available during the super shop sales (1/2 off, for 100 BBs? I can't remember exactly:oops:).

yes, I think you are right Guinea. Checked the FAQ and it says 199, although the faqs are not updated, the rest of the prices looked right when compared in the shop.

Thank you very much, @GuineaUp and @Moraine! :)

p.s. edit: as for leveling up, I use pink jellies, they are a lot cheaper in my market!

Yes Pink jelly is way cheaper than almost anything, last time I checked it was 900 CC for one, but you only get 50 TP for consuming one, as you will get 100 for the lavender and egg nog. Pink jelly being level 2 and lav/egg L3. But ofc it is all about cost, and I too tend to go for the cheaper stuff.

Moraine - Lavender Jam is 125 trade points and a better option, providing the price is right of course!

This strategy works the same for the Bakery. Buy as many PPP as you can afford (currently 16k in my market) and consume. Being a Level 5 recipe it gives you loads of trade point, and you'll fly through if you "eat" 5 /day!

Lavender jam is what I used - bought some and made some (when I had extra sugar). It seemed to take forever, but I'm a very impatient person. It was definitely worth the wait.

So you just use 5 lavender jams per day, without actually growing the lavender? I don't need that much lavender lol
How does that effect your slots during an event? Will I still have room for CAC and such??

When I made my own jam, I grew the lavender too - tedious process.
It doesn't do anything to your slots, since you just eat the jam - it doesn't take up a slot.

Wait... You don't need to use the 5 Lavender Jams a day to actually grow Lavender, you won't get any points if you use them like that o_O. Instead there is an option in the Confectionery to click on after you click on the Lavender Jam that's on the shelf in there that says "Improve your skills and level up" (square button on the right). You can change the number from 1-5, depending on how many you have to use. When used this way you don't activate the buff, but you do get the product's value points added to your running total/green bar.:)
