I've read the FAQ and it seems somewhat straight forward to me. I'm somewhat confused though by some of the offers in the market. If I'm looking to sell an item and check out the other offers first some of them seem completely outrageously priced. For example I have an abundance of potatoes to sell, when I check the market there are many offers that are more than 3 times the market value on more than 1000 units. That seems crazy to me and they had to pay the high market fee to post it as well. Am I basically looking at farmers that are being overly optimistic in their offers or am I missing something?

In general, if there is a high demand for some crops the entry price will be higher than, for example, what you pay for them in the seed shop.....but there is also a sorting function on the market....I marked the two ways of sorting in the picture....

    I hope this helps.....

I'm still a bit confused. How do you know if there is a high demand for a product? I'm more puzzled over how to set my own pricing and perhaps that is a strategy issue.

    Edit:
I just found an amazing link for beginners on money making that cleared up my confusion. It should almost be a must read for beginners. Since I found it through another link I'm not sure where exactly it is posted in this forum. I'm going to try to post the link but moderators please forgive me if I do that incorrectly.

Thank you Michael1877 for your assistance :) .

    Hello Clashstrummer :)

That is a very good question! Indeed, this is more of a strategy question and you can discuss it further with the other farmers in the Game Strategy section - you will find quite a few threads and debates about this topic already. A great example for products in high demand is the group of goods that are requested for an event. You can always check the short time quests (events) FAQs on the Forum, in the Event FAQ section, and there you will see the charts of the current quest. Depending on what is needed and in what amounts, the demand will increase for those crops / fruits / products / animals.

I wish you the best of luck selling a lot of goods on the market!

Is there anything else we can assist you with?
    Best regards,

You are most welcome, Clashstrummer :) I wish you the best of luck earning lots of CCs! I am sure you will get the hang of it slowly, just start by selling smaller amounts at reasonable prices, making sure you always check the current market price before submitting an offer.

If you need further help with the game, do not hesitate to ask :) For strategies though, it's best to exchange opinions with the fellow farmers, since we refrain from giving such advice - there is no right or wrong way to play the game, it is important to have fun and enjoy it!

    Best regards,
