Where I live, March can have very unpredictable weather. We've seen unseasonally warm temperatures, rain, and even snow. Early spring flowers are blooming, the grass is beginning to grow, there are the beginnings of buds on the trees but all are at risk for frost.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

Istanbul, It is a city with incredible history, amazing culture, lively interesting people, something for everyone, beautiful skylines, incredible views, and restaurants/cafes everywhere. For centuries it has had traders, warriors, leaders, travelers and almost all types of people pass through. Religion, language, cultures and all else have melded there for my opinion. I have visited Istanbul and I want to visit again.

What was the most shocking historical fact for you ?

I don't know. I don't really tend to get surprised by historical facts. The older I get the less shocked I am that people were terrible and did terrible things... But I guess I was pretty shocked to learn that witch trials were a thing. Or how they used to perform medical procedures without anaesthetic. And I was shocked to learn about how psychiatric hospitals used to be.

Do you prefer humanities or sciences?

Kind of. I'm not very artistic, but as I said in a previous answer, I've been knitting pouches for wildlife injured in the Australian bushfires, and I'm unexpectedly enjoying that (wasn't a knitter beforehand). Handicrafts probably aren't my forte and not how I would usually choose to spend my time, but I do find them relaxing!

Have you ever sold something you made yourself?

I need to fix my sleep schedule. I also need to get out of the house more and stop assuming that my friends don't want to talk to me! (I should note that the getting out of the house thing doesn't apply right now - I'll stay right where I need to stay!)

What time do you go to bed?

Too early! Between 10.00 and 10.30. -.- But I do get up between 6.00 and 7.00 in the morning, no reason, just wake up naturally at that time - should change at the end of the month when the clocks go forward.:music:
What time do you get up in the morning? Or maybe afternoon lol! xD

Normally it is "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" but, with the current situation, I seem to be saying more and more "It is what it is". :wuerg:

My most useful is my bank app or my meditation app. But I most frequently use Instagram and Messenger.

Are you attached to your phone or do you mostly forget about it?

The question is hard I can't choose but generally I read Russian classics. For example, "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" is my favorite book currently :)

    1. Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens (First novel which I read when I was in 3rd standard. Later on in my 6th standard it was our English non-detail book. But our English teacher did not teach us the novel. She just gave question and answers for us to memorise. I thought my teacher has denied my class students, the pleasure of that novel. I became a fan of Charles Dickens. I liked the way he creates the characters and the way he ends the novels - good for good and bad for bad.)

    2. About Lenin - a collection of reminiscence of various people from farmers, children and high officials, journalists etc., I read it in Tamil translation. The translation was very tough. But the stories were very entertaining and helped in Character formation. This book later on made me a good translator from English to Tamil and Vice versa as I thought I should not translate like them. The book would have been more enjoyable, if the translation had been better.

    3. My animal friends by Boris Eder. It was how a trainers of wild animals trained them and about his circus acts etc., I think it has somehow influenced my affection for animals and my handling of them.

    4. Tales of the Amber Sea: Fairy Tales of the Peoples of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. (I would like to add these too. My best and forever fairy tales) Even now I tell tales from these fairy tales to niece and nephews and other children.

kimharin I think we posted the same time. :D

If someone wants to have the link for the fairy tales, I will ingame message you the link. You will all love it. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania fairy tales are simply superb.
