I was torn between can't decide and the Farmer's Society but I just love to work on the FSQs and it is so rewarding to complete something that you have been adding to for soooo long! :inlove:

I know this is a very difficult question for me.

I don't know which to choose so I will choose "I simply cannot decide".

    I love all the items.
Farmwheel because you can earn some free prizes everyday.
Even though I haven't unlocked the Magical Beanstalk, I know that it will be useful for me when I unlock it.
Farmers' Market is a definite :inlove: because you can sell things there to earn cc. You can also buy some items that you need.
Farmers' Society is also wonderful because there are many quests for you to earn wonderful rewards.
FarmHouse is useful because of the plant refinery and the chickadee roost.
Comment for Mill: It takes too much time to make feed, especially powerfeed. But I would rather make feed in the mill than buying it.
Post Office is great because you can send messages and gifts in the post office.
Artisan Village is definitely a "thumbs up" because you can make some useful CF in the Artisan Trades.
Tree of Wisdom and Baha Temple: Also great because you can choose the items you want to unlock.

Since everything is a "thumbs up" I cannot decide.:music:

I totally agree with your assessment. How can I decide on one of these features when I cannot do without many of them and the others are just great to have.

Can you make a crop for new players to grow for 8-10 hours since my friend comes home and finds all his crops are dead/weeds . His highest is 2 hours. Just at least till you get the ones that are higher?

I too simply cannot decide as I really love the farmwheel, farmers' market, farmers' society, artisan's village and the mill is very useful!

I would like to say though about the baha monkey temple-I realise it prolongs the game and makes it longer to complete quests etc but I personally find it very frustrating that instead of just being able to unlock the things you want seperately, you have to unlock them in order.

This is such a diverse group of features they are hard to even compare.

Its tempting to say "farm wheel", because, after all it gives us free goodies. However, things like the monkey temple, farm quests, mill and magic stalk are integral to the game. The artisan village seems worthless initially, but becomes pretty necessary early on.. at least the basic three (confection, bakery and florist) and the spa (not sure about the alchemy... have not opened it and have not heard great things about it). The mill can be somewhat drudgery, removing it would be a HUGE mistake. The market is not terribly exciting, but is necessary and integral to the game. Similarly, the post office is something we could possible do without, but its fun to talk to people without having to come to the forums, and the post office allows us to give non-neighbors gifts more readily.

Basically, removing any of those would alter and damage the game significantly, so its impossible to really decide. If you were to ask maybe how we would like to see each modified, or something along those lines, then I think you would get a better response. I truly believe that the only real answer is "cannot decide", once people really give the matter thought.

i would say that if you are looking to "clean things up", make more "game space", you could probably combine some of the alchemy features into 1-2 artist functions, just don't utterly delete the others -- say, if you delete the florist, then make sure to trade equivalent features for the ones you keep, including initiating new products that match the old ones (for example, there is nothing like the terror boquet that I know of, so you would need to create a confection or bakery product that matches it, and the "trade" those who already have the bouquet recipe somehow).

Things like the post office are probably already sort of "outside" the game itself, that is, in a separate programming area. (if not, that might help)

EDIT: I almost forgot about the farmhouse, which is pretty telling. I enjoyed having a mentor initially, but have yet to become one (don't even bother checking any longer). I played with refinements initially, but have not seen the benefit since. If there is one feature to remove/change, I would say this is it.

Also, as a subcategory of the Farmer's Society -- not sure about the Farmer's Society Farm orders. I seriously depended on them initially. I still fulfill almost all the tree orders and some of the Baha ones (those that don't require animals, mostly). I almost never fulfill the "rare" or "premium" buyer demands, since they offer too little for what they ask. The exception is if they ask for less valuable trees. (some rare ones, like elderberry, but mostly the non-rare items) Eggs and milk used to be cheapies, but cost has been creeping up recently, so they are no longer options, either. I would say it needs revamping, but not eliminating. Not sure how to revamp, though, without horribly skewing things. Perhaps increasing at least the CC values for some items, particularly rare items (can you somehow tie it to markets -- not to be truly competitive, but just to have it a tad more reflective?)

Break the question down to 3 or 4 items, then let us pick from those. Too many to select from. My least favorite is the Farm Wheel.

This was definitely a hard one. As mentioned earlier, most of these go hand in hand. It is like building a Sundae. The Farmers Society is like the ice cream, you can get e.p. to level up and unlock new trees, crops and animals, then there are c.c. to buy things you can't produce yourself, which brings the Farmers Market into play. Some of the quests have e.p. givers which in turn brings the Magical Bean Stalk into play because there is no room to place it on the overtaxed park or Shipwreck Bay. I'm calling that the chocolate sauce. The cherry on this farming sundae would be the Artisans Village which gives you that extra advantage during events as well as everyday farming. The Farm Wheel would be the sprinkles. Extra toppings are always welcome. How do you decide when they are all yummy by themselves but so much better together.

I like the Market because you can buy and sell items that you either need or have an abundance of. The Farm Wheel gives free gifts.

One thing I would like would be for the Farm Wheel or secret stables/trees to offer items that are necessary for the level you are at. A lot of times you win a goat pen or chicken coop when you are already on level 80+ and no longer require that item and in most cases have an overabundance of them.

"I simply cannot decide". More precisely, there are more then one I "like the most". :p
Of course, some are more beneficiary, in terms of gaining rewards and money, but all of them are entertaining.:)

I can't imagine farmerama with out any off these features and they are what they make the game special and better than many other farming games if not the best, and with leveling up and getting more experience these feature became more essential and involved in our playing and strategies so they become a part of the farming process, I voted : simply can't decide, these features cover a wide variety of activities and not similar, for a better comparison I believe it is better to ask for example which better (as a style) the tree of wisdom or the monkey temple or which trade you find better or suits you more, or do you prefer to do FSQ or farm orders, any way I love them all and some of them can do with some developments.

Not sure I like any of those at all. Granted, they all give us something to do and some make the events better. Maybe after almost 5 years, it is just getting old.

Farmhouse wheel I use it daily, but disappointed in most spins

Magical beanstalk. I have 23 pages of them 68 rows. I use them when I remember.

Farmer's market. I occasionally use it if needed.

Farmer's society. I use for doing the quests.

Farmhouse. I rarely go there as I don't mess with the stickers, I never was chosen to be a mentor, I don't enjoy messing with the greenhouse

Mill. I mill because I need to do it to raise animals.

Post Office. I rarely use it.

Artisan's village I use it when I need products. The products do enhance the game and I have all buildings open, but it is boring. We need new recipes.

Tree of wisdom/ baha ancient monkey Temple. The tree is almost completed with stars. The temple I just use when something new opens up.

I think all the feature of the game are integral to it's makeup and it wouldn't be the same without them. Removing any of them would change it. The biggest thing I dislike is the element of chance in so many things not the things to do while playing.

The whole game is interconnected. Most of the options would have knock-on effects on the others if they were changed or removed.
That said, I picked the Farmers' Society because my main focus is on completing the quests. That is the 'point' to the game as far as I am concerned (not to say there aren't plenty of other equally valid points other people choose). Without these quests I would probably not enjoy the game and have no particular reason to grow anything. I would love to have more quests which asked for mainly plants as I have completed all of these.

I choose I can't decide however I have plenty to say if you want my honest humble opinion o_O:oops:

My answer would really depend on why you're asking. Are you looking to improve/change/remove these features? Change is not always bad but it's not always good either. Some thing's are better just left alone even if they can be improved upon, unless they can be improved without making them worse first

    1. FarmWheel -- Even though I use my spins each day.... I hardly ever see the point other than I'll take anything free for all the time I've put into this game. Yes you tried to "improve" it with the party spins. However, until the flower cloud row I never even bothered. I'm not buying those tickets and only get the ones from events. I couldn't tell you 2 seconds after each spin what I even received since 99% of the time it's nothing I actually need/want. Something to give away to newbies during the once a year Gift and Trade event.
    2. Magical Beanstalk -- I love and hate these. It's taking longer and longer to harvest them each day. :( However, I would NOT want them to be automatically done like my trees unless I could choose which ones were. Those that affect my events... I want full control over.
    3. Farmers' Market -- I couldn't see the game without this feature even though I don't use it on a regular basis. I don't know where I would be without it.
    4. Farmers' Society -- I enjoy having these quests to work on. When there's time between events... oh wait... there is no time between events... I don't have to do an event?????? Don't speak to me like that. I can't stop myself :p
    5. FarmHouse -- I struggle here. I forget about the greenhouse all the time  Probably because I have yet to understand how to use it without throwing away my crops. I'll work on that... What else does this do???? Don't remember... moving on....
    6. Mill -- How else would I make my animal food???? And my powerfeed!?!?!?!?!:oops::oops: I do wish we could make PF on the island as well though... just saying...
    7. Post Office -- How else can I chat with my neighbors? Not all of them come to forum anymore :sleepy::cry: And not everyone I chat with is a neighbor so I need my post office, thank you.
    8. Artisan's Village -- I need my recipes in order to play the game. I've worked very hard at leveling up. There are some recipes I feel are completely pointless, but that's just my take. Which is way I don't make those ones. No biggie. I just make what I want to use :)
    9. Tree of Wisdom / Baha Ancient Monkey Temple -- These give the game another thing to work for. Sometimes I hate that as it holds me back. I like going at my own pace.

Okay, so there's my take on these.... do what you will :):oops:8)

I do know how it works. I don't like the way it works. I've basically "thrown away" many crops trying to get one enhancement. At this point in the game, I can't afford to waste thousands of crops trying for one enhancement. Yes, I know I always get something back but it is a paltry return on my investment.

Also in the farmhouse was the Chickadee roost. Was slanted to the early players in the game. While I got some gifts, I can't say that I really got any "mentoring". I applied to be a mentor but it was too late. No revision has been forthcoming. I did become an unofficial mentor and have a great neighbor out of it.

I am also in the "can't decide" category. I have come to love playing in the market, searching for deals and sharing good finds. It makes me laugh to remember myself as a new farmer, hoarding every CC and afraid to buy anything in the market.

I am greatly appreciative for the mill, that we can mill PF and not be forced to only be able to buy it. I know it takes forever, and you can only make a little at a time, but every little bit helps if you don't buy PF for breeding. And I like the way the mill is being incorporated more into events, it adds a little variety.

The farmhouse I don't use so much, every once in a while I'll think to try for a refinement, but for the most part I never go there. I am disappointed in the mentoring system, I've been waiting for going on 2 years to be a mentor, but have never gotten a chickadee. I still hope that the system will be fixed eventually, but I do realize that other priorities like the coral reef have taken precedence.

The farmwheel has improved to some extent, it seems like. I still would love to see recipes on it once in a while, like they used to do. I think it would be awesome to have old recipes that were event prizes on the wheel, so those who weren't around or were new and had no real chance to win it then could get it now.

Now that I've been playing a while I use the farmer's society more. I know some people concentrate on it intently, my style is more laid back, do it as I feel like, but I enjoy being able to go there and work on quests if my barn is well stocked and I have a little time. And I agree, it's a nice feeling when you finally finish a quest you've been working on for a long time.

I don't use the artisan's village as much as I should, but it's a good feature, it's great to be able to make buffs that make the events easier. I also like being able to send/receive messages in the post office, talking to friends and neighbors, I think it adds to a good game environment. I'm still trying to train myself to remember to use the beanstalk, as some of the newer awards really help with the events. It's a great feature, I think, would really be easier to have a harvest function for it as well, tho, as has been mentioned before. As for the tree of wisdom and Baha monkey temple, I just keep plugging away and saving stars and GB, and I know I'll finish them sooner or later. My only minor frustration is not being able to spend my GBs for fear of needing them to open the coral reef, lol.
