Raiders Of The Lost Puzzle - Strategy

I would really like to get more torrent twister upgrades but this event has too much going on with it and doesn't seem fun. I love the puzzle aspect but this time around it's marred a bit by the other tasks. Sitting this one out. Good luck to those participating.

 

Well, I'm plowing ahead on this farm and SL's. Sometimes when I can't figure out the FAQ, it turns out to just be my brain and actually seeing how the event works, it turns out to be easy/doable. Other times, not so much. We'll see in a few minutes which case it is this time out.

PS: I see we are having a wonder tree weekend...so I guess I'll put wonder trees on the magic glade?

I get 49 Amber-drops from MG?!?!?
Correct?
My 2 my relatives (earlier, about 2hour then) gets nothing?
Some change perhaps even though the FAQ hasn't been updated since yesterday!?

 

Hi all 3 Mainlands are giving drops from crops and trees! I hope that helps!

 

I'm with you PM23 - just grow and collect, see what happens. Don't forget that you can get drops from the Magical Glade so is it the best place for our Wonder Trees or worth waiting?

 

OK, I told to him! Now I can remember that I have NO field-crops when collecting and "not mentioned" my Ambers from Jumbo Trees

Quite good start, over 12000 event plants from/with bonuses!

 

Honestly, I'm about over wonder trees and stables. I think I might just put a few out on the magical glade and hope for the best. I do have jumbo trees on the magical glades on both farms, so hoping that boosts drops a bit.

 

Many new features have been added compared to the previous puzzle event, and we'll have to wait six days to play some of them. I think it's a bit confusing, but we'll see step by step. Good luck to everyone and I wish them all success in achieving their goals.

 

I am using Sunflower Hill - at the moment it has trees, mainly ones that I haven't got so many of so I don't trade them lol! But I also have my Arboritums and my Jumbo stables. I put out my Wonder Stables and Trees there and then put back what I took out. Great "temporary placement" area!

I have a couple of questions: how do we get further puzzle pieces, is it the Crystal Skulls? How many puzzle pieces per Crystal Skull (or whatever we are using)? The freeby gave us 30 puzzle pieces.

I think I am doing okay and may manage two or three harvests per day over the next couple of days. I am not using anything special when I can't always harvest, I will save that once I find out what I am doing and once I get home to my own internet!

1 Crystal skull gets you 1 puzzle piece

 

Yes, we need lots of crystal skulls and lots of amber. For some reason, the amount of amber drops seems to be very low. I've solved 9 puzzles so far. Solving puzzles is fun, but some glitches are annoying.

 

I'm getting about twice as much amber as I get excavating tools on the main field. The green meadow seems to be more generous with drops too...

I'm not that far along

 

One puzzle on SL's farm. I ran an errand yesterday and it turned into a falderal and there went the day. Didn't even get into the sewing room. Not. One. Stitch.

I'm still growing crops and collecting drops. Tomorrow I'll lose most of the day. I don't know how far I can get.

Is it my imagination, or do we need a lot more skullettes than the other crop? Because there are donations of the crops directly, plus donations of the crystal skulls plus we need crystal skulls to trade for puzzle pieces.

I'm switching to amber for gifting.

 

While I am not doing the event, I'm still following the chat to have an idea of what to send for gifting. Just noticed that I have 9 Season tokens which can be exchanged, among other things, for an hour of +1 for crops. Don't forget to check there if you're looking for harvest buffs. Northy, could you please work out the requirements just for the section that opens in five days or so. Mainly crops needed but drops/puzzle pieces as well would be a great help!!

Anyone arrived to Backyard Explorers? I made the three silver steps, unblocked Secrets on the Ice Puzzle, but the gold step is not available

 

These are my kind of jigsaw puzzles especially the 25 piece where 16 are edges! That only leaves 9 that don't have a flat bit!! Oh, wait, the 20 piece only has 6 without an edge!!! Oh, luxury!
