Wonders over all wonders, after endless of CC and EP a tree suddenly appeared! clearly somewhere down the pipeline something went wrong, my bad luck got lost and I can hug a new tree. Don't ask me how many cocoa beans I spent, I have no idea - wasted all those 5000 pluss the ones I had, bought more and when I suddenly decided to change tree fruit - for one last try. There it was! I have placed it already, it is confirmed real.

Thank you ever so much. As it turned out, I got my tree and I only need one. But the kindness warmed a unlucky soul for the entire night.

I spilled my tea reading that. Fingers crossed for Nellie and her CR, and to everybody else still trying to lure Random to be on their side.

 

Congrats everyone for all your goodies. My baby farm (JJsFarm) finally got all the givers for the CR and a badger sett. Picked up a lot of nice things along the way.

Strategy is to demonstrate how the "bait and switch" tactic works in this game. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahhahah

First the bait is presented in the faqs as it is below. Players are being baited to grow junks and spend their RL funds in order to get stars from a machine. Look:

Yaaaaaaaaa hahahahaha Stars in a nice picture is the bait. Players will accept anything if they are given a star. BUT you will never get any stars. There are no stars available in any of the pools.

We have been had, we have been took, we have been dogged again, our MODS were tricked into using the picture to bait us.

Yaaaaaaaa hahahahaha AND there were no stars available last year.

BUT the star bait was still on the hook as bait. Experienced game players have thrown in kakakaka billions of EV of goods and barns were just taken and barns were empitied even more.

THE SWITCH comes when you look for the stars in the reward pools and find none.

And no one sees it and I'm baited into fooling with an event with trash.

Simple concept: The bait is turned into trash.

Off topic: Is it okay to disclose how a market lion king plays bait n switch in the market here? Guaranteed to drive you insane. But you are my friends so I should tell you.

Sweet_Cassiopeia, that is how sophisticated "bait and switch tactics" work. I am not criticizing you and I must use your words as a perfect illustration.

• The most successful bait n switch tactics ALL have worked the subconscious. You do not THINK you saw the stars.
• Now I graduated from third grade and sorta understand what I see in pictures. Now that you are consciously aware of the "bait n switch" tactic being used, review the faqs and become consciously aware of how many pictures of the recyclo thinggie DO NOT show any reward whatsoever. I dare ya!

To make this real simple and then to stop, and to strategically bring a smile to a few faces .... the summary is:

• Now you see it (the stars)
• Now you don't
• And you won't hahahahahahahahaha

Hi all!

* I started the Event with 698 batteries left over from last time
* donated 1,05 million EV worth of Baha fruits + the odd coffee , ginger and lettuce (a total of 4 maxed out silos + one of 70K EV worth)
* received: the CR + givers, countless CC, Ep+Bep, SG, TM, PJ. Happy as!

I'll probably take a few more turns on the M pool as the Badger is still missing in my menagerie.

I got the 2x2 event item (after trying 3 times and getting 75.000 EP, 36.000 BEP, 8.000 BEP)
So I only had to get the last one with the 10 batteries. I had 104 batteries left and I got these(4x 25.000 EP, Pinneapple cake, 1 hour coupon, 1 Party ticket, 2x 20.000 CC and the Sticker!)

I still need the 1x1 event item to complete the cloud row...

Out of those say 20 000 players - how many read the forum ? I did see the stars and got a bit excited for a few sec, then I read the word random, and then I read the prizes, and my enthusiasm fell ... almost down in a manure pile. After trying the event, it fell even further and now I have 50 sheep grazing overnight. I like sheep

One here wont be using hers
Have only ever bought one thing in this game and that was the confectioners when it first came into the game...But certainly wont be buying anything else

Have now put the 2 cloud givers back in my Inventory and will use my crops etc on the FS quests that i can take my time doing
And spend my money on shopping for some new winter clothes for my wardrobe
PNP is right ...we do get these things in our game eventually
The cloud will be a reminder to question whether the game is worth doing
And A big thank you to Sweet_Cassiopeia for that FS list...that will be a big help
