Again there has been a problem with the FAQs for this event. BP, you need to publish all event FAQs from one place, not leave it to volunteer mods to create them for each language forum. With the technology that exists, this should not be a problem. Once again FAQs for the English speaking forum were misleading. I would NEVER have bothered with this event if I had known that the Cloud Row only offered EP and TEP. I was very much looking forward to the CCs as stated in our FAQs. Apparently other language FAQs stated only EP and TEP. It wasn't until I used many items from my barn and won the CR that I found out the FAQs were wrong. Now I have an almost full recyclomat of items I will either lose or have to get batteries to use just to get things I don't need. So disappointed in your poor communication.

 

Not my type of event. Don't like the randomness of the prizes ( I don't do raffles either). I didn't see the point of the event crop either, it should have been a huge advantage to grow it, but it is not. Graphics are nice as usual, and if the event gods are in a good mood I hope to win them. I too think something got lost in the translations for the FAQ, causing some extra confusions on my part. It really would be nice if BP made an extra effort in quality control of the FAQ as well.

 

Being that the FAQ stated 7000 CC's as part of the CR at the time the event started, BP (youzu) MUST honour it somehow.
You don't go to a car dealership and buy a black truck, and then have the dealership hand you keys to a red one and say oh well, we didn't think you would mind...how stupid is that????

I didn't use as many resources as I first calculated to get the cloud row and givers. But the prizes are a wee bit of the samey stuff. Perhaps for lower-mid players to get the extras, which is good. I reinforced my higher value pens to try for rare stuff but I'll wait on that. The event isn't terrible..it's just not hugely exciting compared to the interactive ones like the Mardi Gras event type where you grabbed the candy and necklaces; that one was fun.
I forgot to add that the flower crop was too low value to be of an advantage to grow.

 

In all fairness 007 the FAQ always have a disclaimer saying there might be errors in it, due to translation errors, misunderstandings and last minute changes. If we want a bulletproof FAQ we have to go back to the days when the FAQ never was released before after the events went live.

This time, i'm angry about the cloud row NOT rewarding CC's that were announced in the faq. I spent over 17 million CC to get to fill up this machine,... and now that we're dumping stuff in, (including real money for some) it appears that the cloud row does NOT award CC's.

I mean... really? come ON!?! The CC giving cloud row was the whole reason I wánted it. Now I feel cheated. Despite the disclaimer.

Too big a mistake not to care.

 

In all fairness to the players....the FAQ and any information should be correct BEFORE publishing it, regardless. People spend oodles of money on this game...therefore it is a business.
Bullet proof FAQ's should be required....what does it take to PROOF read info. Nothing against the Mods...but who is looking out for the interests of the paying playing customers. We pay with our time and with our $$$$$. There is no need to go back to any insufficient process. Good grief, this game/business has been around for 5 plus years.....my point is that information should be proofed before publishing. Why publish something just to get the players hyped up to play and then turn around and say oh well.

 

If it hadn't been on a page where years gone by for this event ..Maybe farmerama might have seen the BOO BOO that they have made before it went live ....these should be put somewhere else NOT added with more of the same event year after year

IT is a BIG let down after us believing the FAQ for this cloud row

FAQ .... Cool down Time: 20 hours Effect: 7000 EP plus 7000 CC....

And then getting a cloud row telling us we will get 7000 EP and 7000 tep
IT is a let down that is not acceptable

This is NOT our fault and we should be given what the FAQ stated

YOU made the mistake ..... NOT the players and you are making us suffer for YOUR mistake ...that is a good way to lose players .... from a lack of trust
If there had been changes made to the cloud row ...then we should have been told about this before the event started

Because we got something that some of us didn't want ...yet another ep tep cloud row

I am so glad I got a late start today. I haven't donated anything and I don't think I will now that the CR isn't what was initially advertised. I'll just let those nublon batteries sit in my barn (along with all the inventory I won't be using). I should have known that a CC giving CR was too good to be true.

 

BC, one of my baby farms has 3 CR's that give CC's: One gives 12,000cc's, one gives 6,000cc's, and one gives 1,000cc's.

I think this is all just a mistake. There are two charts, one after the other. The first one is for August and states the ep/tep CR. The 2nd chart directly underneath it says August/September and does state 7000ep's and 7000CC's.

So I guess we just need to wait till the Mods get this sorted out and let us know what's what. It does just look like a simple mistake, as if someone was in a rush and missed the second chart.

Hopefully we will know soon.

Edit: When I clicked on the "...FAQ's found *here*(in green, above)...it took me to the ...Picnic...Event FAQ's. So, most likely, this is just a mistake.

 

Good for you BlackCaviar I printed out the FAQ and rewards pool lists last night so I could get right to it......hmmmm....

 

Gosh, complaints about a mistype in the FAQ of a game. Yell, scream, demand for latteral damage done to your soul rush to an attorney or go play outside with the neighbour kids and actually have more fun! When you want to get more CC for free then go to the market and make a listing or two. It does work.

I think it's great the randomness set to gain the CR and its givers were set extremely high. Thumbs up and thanks to the team for doing so!

 

Pros:
1. Great event for players who have an extreme amount of "stuff" in their barns.
2. Graphics are awesome.

Cons:
1. This year's event tagged at the end of last year's event. Glad I re-read that post.
2. CR didn't match what was posted in forums.
3. The high randomness setting. Reminds me of the fishing game, where one farm got the CR and none of the EP givers and the other three got two of the EP givers and not the CR.
4. Event crop EV too low.

TBH, I feel the need to apologize to our wonderful Mods. After reading these posts several times, it appears that you are yelling and screaming at them. Was a mistake made, YES. Does it demand them to be yelled and screamed at, NO. What I am seeing is a bunch of ADULTS throwing a tantrum like a CHILD.

Side note: I finally got Noah's Ark done!!

 

Clearly event information was written by the development programmers. Obviously since these employees are German, the German FAQs were correct. Why can't there be a template developed for FAQs so that such an important piece of information does not become a "typo" from overworked, volunteer Mods. I can see how the error happened as a Mod takes a previous FAQ and modifies it for the new event. Many other less critical mistakes have been made in the past this way. But BP should provide a template for the Mods so that this does not happen. Truly though, Mods should not need to develop Event FAQs at all. This should be the work of the "paid" program developers.

I do not feel that "all" of the above posts are yelling and screaming at the Mods. I do agree that a mistake was made and that in this case it wasn't a minor one. We need to let BP know that and that is why this thread is here.

 

ha ba it's not the rant, it's getting screwed , if you put in the effort you want what you have earned. the movie's are a joke they only work after a event, 90%of the time they don't work during, and that's fine. anyone that's this game for as long as most of us level 80+

Funny how for some players when they have something they are not happy about it is okay for them to express such things. Perhaps those same individuals can afford the same courtesy to their fellow farm players.....
No one is having a "childish" temper tantrum and no one is looking for FREE stuff to complain about. People are disappointed and are stating so.
No one is YELLING at the MODS. Presumptuous to say that the "volunteer"work the MODS do is causing them to be overworked...self inflicted???
Their time and efforts, are of course, very much appreciated. Clearly there is really big hole in how the company (youzu) relays information down the command chain. As already stated, every forum should get the correct information all the time and nothing should be published until it is.
What would Youzu do without the MODS????

 

farmlily3, I meant to say "so soon" as I have those CRs you are speaking about. One was just recently earned. I'm always looking for more CCs. EP/TEP come much easier for me.

 

There are several postings, that have said FAQ for This Event was Misleading. It is huge let down not getting Cloud Row that wont be getting CC.

Not only that As FAQ was Showing Tables for Pool A, B, C for What Prizes you can get But Listed Last year Pool Prizes and this Year Pool Prizes it is misleading as both of them Dated August.

It is the same Event Crop from Last Year Star Flower Which Gives us 40 Exchange Value but Takes 8 Hours or less to grow. As it is a Junk Crop to Grow as we can grow normal crops or Refined Crops that can gives us Better Exchange Value that we can donate towards This Event.

It would be nice for a Change to have an Event Crop that has a Better Exchange Value than normal crops. You did this several years ago. Never done it again. It would make a nice change that make us Enjoy this Event.

It is a real Shame we cannot win Giver Items more than Once as it would have been far more Appealing to do this Event

We had Feedback for this Event from Last Year But not seemed to listen to Last Year Feed Back. I do not know what YouZu is doing about this it does gives us Concern and Disappointment Lacking in Fun and Excitement and Hard Earned Privileges in terms of Rewards !!
