recycling unwanted stuff

    I know there'a huge complicated malarky with trading licenses and events BUT

    I have endless pea shooting artefacts and low value decorations
    I have endless salt and crafting stuff
    I have stables that no one would want to trade for
    I have endless crafting products which are useless

    Let's have a recycling event - it all goes into a giant hopper and gets 'shredded' and according to the level of items you get shop coins or something.

    Please help me de-clutter !

    I love this idea... it be like spring cleaning... And I would love to see this least once a year... As we build up things we no longer wish to see in our inventory... Now if the inventory can be sorted way better then it is now... I will keep everything.. Just tired of seeing things i hardly use...

    I would like this so much. I stupidly bought 50 crossbuck fences and have 30 single pens for displaying breeding animals along with tonnes of other junk which I'd love to see go.

    Yep, I got fences, trees (decoration only), benches and a few single pens to mention just a few of the things I don't need. When I first started farming, they looked really pretty among my few chicken pens and crops. We can of course sell them back to BP on the Gift and Trade but who wants to waste a whole ticket just for one item! Lets find an imaginative way to recycle them please.

    It would be nice if the store had a permanent recycling station. Where you can dump a certain value of items into it -- and choose something new in return (pick the item you want and dump appropriate value). -- OR you could get farm coins or ccs back -- your choice. Maybe even BBs depending on 'dump' amount and value. :)

    They could even make it a contribution Quest - similar to the ones we need with crops, animals and trees.

    It would be great if we could trade in unwanted items for a point value, and use those points to purchase other donated items!

    Now that sounds great oldman49! Free Recycle day and/or free Garbage pickup, just like in the real world!! It beats throwing it out in the back yard or on the street! ;)

    Oh, please please please please please?! With chocolate and a maraschino cherry on top? I have soooo many things I would love to get rid of! And as part of this (specific to the pens, granted), could the Workshop have an option to "unbuild" pens and return tools? Even if it's only a 50% return, with none of the breeding animals, I would take it, if only to get rid of all of the useless yellow pens and chicken egg farms that are cluttering up my inventory (I have egg trees, why use the pens?).

    Pleeeaaaase???

    Or is Farmerama trying to emulate the real world's trash problem?
