OK, sorry but I am being really dense here. I put the crops in the machine, click the 10 button, an item is shown in the second section, I click the green arrow and nothing. Click the "buy" and it is just for dust. Click the 10 again, same again; item in second section, turning, but no dellivery

First you fill the machine with crops/trees, then you pick which size pool you wish to play, then you click on the green arrow and your reward shows in the last machine. You need to make sure you have enough crops/trees donated and enough Batteries to play each pool. Here is the Recycl-o-mat FAQ.

thanks shooger; but I am sure that is what I did. The item kept appearing in the second machine but never emerged in any noticable way; and when I cliched the buttons again, the same thing happened. Unless the event crops are necessary (in which case I would expect some special button or some such for it). I have a ton of batteries and fulfilled the 2500000 crop requirement. So, what am I missing?
Just tried it again (wasting crops) and when I put in the required amount it says "you have finished this level" and then blah - teasing image in the machine I cant get

 

That is exactly what is happening to me...It showed the EP cap, 50,000 when scrolled over it, no action to get it, and no distinctive notice of anything received...I waited about an hour before trying the third time, and again EP...Even if I am receiving them, 3 EP rewards in a row is disappointing. This is my first time with this event, are we missing something?

In below picture:



1: fill this with crops/trees. You must have enough EV for each pool size you are going to attempt.
2: Pick which size pool you wish to try. You must have enough batteries.
3. Click on the arrow and your prize will show in this building. You can hover over it to see what you have won.

If you have enough crops/trees in building 1 and enough batteries, you can try again.

Sorry Shooger, no. Maybe I see it wrong - kinda like the trophy quest? You load up the corps in the first one (no idea what EV is, but it said 250000 points and I loaded that amount of fruits etc into the pod on "deliver" until it went to zero; then it said (as stated) "you have finished this level". I clicked the first green button with the 10 on it, and the pod 3 showed an item (EP) I tried clicking on it, but nothing. It doesn't say I am lacking something, and I don't see any place to put the batteries in (so I presume they are automatically taken), but I have a load from harvesting so think there should be enough. The stranger thing is, when I click the 10 again, I see another item (coins) and then another (sticker [pointless!]) but nothing to indicate I can take it; it just keeps revolving there.
I know I am being dense and missing something very obvious; but missing it I am

 

Chris check your inventory for the item received. You see the item in the 3rd machine, but there is no actual movement to show it going to inventory. The EP, BEP & CC's just add to the bar. I had to look for them too!

 

The item shown in the right-hand box is your prize, you don't need to do anything to claim it, it is already added to you inventory. If you hover your mouse over the prize it will give more details, amount of CC/EP etc

oh; so when I have clicked it multiple times and it showed different items, I received each of those? oh So, I wasted all those batteries and crops for useless things. Thanks for your help Shooger and Neon.
