Has anyone figured out what tactics and what hits, from that game of the title, the "butterfly" would get a good score "almost every time" when he succeeds?

I recently got 10,000, or full, when neither meter was there, not the curved one which is stopped first, and not the horizontal plow, or the other meter, not even close to the middle, well...

Next, I hit at most one notch away from the optimal point, both meters and the result was 8,021 points!

So no feeling at all, is that the whole point calculation a scam?

Holding down and releasing the mouse button, or even clicking directly, has no logical effect on the result...

nor does it matter if you "mark" a place by pressing at a certain point and then using another meter at the same point...

or even whether the hits are on the same or different sides of the "best point" or whether the second hit improves the "reasonable middle" of the first hit

Myself - I'm completely lost - really lost!

I would love to know if there's a strategy to get better scores with this game. Yesterday, I was in the green area about six of the 11 times I played, and my score varied quite a bit. I wonder if it depends on how quickly we release the hammer, that is, how many times the meter goes back and forth before we release the hammer. It reminds me somewhat of the fishing game, but in Renzo's game there are two areas that supposedly affect our score.

I assume our internet speed might affect it, but don't know if that's a factor.

Update: This evening, I had four tickets and used all on this game. I tried a new to me way by clicking on the hammer button and holding it until the meter was just in the green, then releasing the button. I scored better today than any other time. I let the meter go side to side many times rather than doing a quick click/release. Still far from the prize I want, but closer.

Um, my strategy is to ignore Renzo and his traveling band of thieves altogether now.

Hold and release has been that way since the very beginning, but necessary since the rebuild with the new software. I too have noticed that the score I receive does not really click with what I see. I am starting to think that Renzo is somewhat like the fishing event - within a range, it's random. I tried to deliberately do poorly and the score will reflect that, but within the green range, I have come to believe it is largely luck. PM23's strategy holds a lot of appeal for me, most of the time!!!
